waiting to see that the 10 day forecast on www.weather.com says that the lows will be in the 50s and the highs will be in the 70s. Thursday is the beginning of fall . . . I'm pretty sure we're supposed to be seeing leaves changing colors (and not to brown because they're parched). ARHGHGHG Texas!!! I love everything about you BUT this!!!

Anyhoo . . . all is going well here. I started my school year with a renewed desire to teach. I'm trying out some new practices in the classroom . . . mainly to make my kids more communicative (in the target language). I'll let you know how that goes. I'm excited about this year. My students are pretty magical. I figured out that Moron Molly failed to turn in a couple of VITAL pieces of information for UNT's Library Science School (like statement of purpose), so I won't be starting the Master's Degree this Fall. Maybe Spring?

We're going to Disney World this Christmas . . . we have plans to be in the MAGIC KINGDOM on Christmas day. I'm so excited about spending time with family there. It's been 5 years since I've been there. This summer, we're taking a group of students to EUROPE!!! :D We'll be visiting London, Paris, Switzerland, and Munich. I'm really excited about going back to Europe (since it will have been 5 years since I've been there). This summer, I'm also planning to go back to Jamaica! It was such an awesome and rewarding experience . . . plus I may have volunteered to help prepare the lessons for the primary class . . . may have . . . okay, I did. :D Finally, I'm planning my 29th birthday trip . . . and I can't decide between Chicago or New York. Suggestions?

I'm watching House Hunters, and it is amazing how much money people will spend on something so ugly and classless.

Tomorrow morning . . . at a ridiculous time . . . :) . . . we're going to Jamaica for 10 days to work with two churches, one in Montego Bay and the other in Savanna La Mar. Please pray for our safety and that our work will be productive! Hooray!

Only one more day to go until I'm signed out for this school year! Very excited. I have another action packed summer!

Yikes! I ate kind of what I wanted to today (only limited quantities) and boy oh boy do those calories start adding up! :D Delicious, delicious calories (and fat . . . and sodium . . . and carbs) yum. This calorie tracker thing is fun, because it shows how terrible you do on the weekends in comparison to the weekdays! :D
