Making It Look Easy
You probably thought I was going to say something about my preaching. Okay, you were NOT thinking that. This is sports-related. Tiger Woods and Roger Clemens make it look easy. Tiger shot 63 and 64 in back to back rounds the last two days. The greatest golfer ever is better than ever (Sorry, Jack! Nicklaus is the #2 greatest golfer ever). Roger Clemens is 8th on the all-time wins list (going for #349 tonight) and second on the all-time strikeout list behind Nolan Ryan. What a privilege to watch both of those guys pitch well into their forties and still be overpowering.
Conversely, this preacher, who at times makes a lot of things look difficult, must now go throw some suits in the car and get ready for a 600-mile journey to St. Louis tomorrow. Not only will I be preaching there for six days but I will likely be trying to lift the spirits of forlorn, embarrassed and shattered Cardinal fans who are undergoing the greatest collapse in baseball history (okay, so they somehow survived due to the ineptitude of the Astros and Reds). Hey, did you hear about the guy who turned his life around? He used to be miserable and depressed. Now, he's depressed and miserable.

I don't get on here as often as I used to. Stop by my blog any time. It's mostly fluff, but I like it.
hope your meeting is going wonderfully!
