I am finally going to Auburn to meet my precious little grand-babies. I am flying to Birmingham on Friday, Feb. 5th and will come home on Monday, the 8th. I can't wait to hold those sweet little babies in my arms and sing and talk and spend as much time as I can squeeze into the weekend with them. I am sure I will have many pictures to show when I return.
If you don't already know, Matt and Jana now are the happy parents of two precious little boys....Spencer Matthew and Shepherd Mark. Thankfully, they have sent me many pictures .....so I have been able to share in their first week through print and VIDEO. We even got to video chat the other day. That was a wonderful experience.......I guess that is the next best thing to actually being there with them. If you haven't seen pictures ......check out Matt's page.......he has a darling picture posted on there.
I love this fall weather. Isn't it wonderful? It makes me remember the beautiful drive from Bowling Green to Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on the BlueGrass Parkway. The changing colors of all the leaves is so beautiful. God is so amazing. Oh--and I saw the most beautiful sunset Thursday night after all of the rain. Gorgeous!
Today is my mother's birthday. Kathy and I are going over and taking her lunch to her. That is very unusual for her because she is ALWAYS cooking for everyone else. She is such an amazing lady. She still has more energy than me----most of the time. She is happiest when she is helping others. God blessed me with an AMAZING mother. She is a wonderful example for all of us. I strive to be more like her.
Matt and Jana found out today that their babies are BOYS! I am so excited. I just love little boys and now I am ready to start shopping. FUN! FUN! FUN!
