    I love this! As I was telling my cousin, my finishing my work really had nothing to do with him, but had more to do with his clients who had no part in his impulsive and self-damaging decision. I mean he didn't have anyone to take my job so he kind of got what he deserved at that point. Also, I felt like I had to see it through for myself. My conscience is clear :) I really hate that you have to put up with anything like this. I'm ready for a day when I don't even have to think about him. I love you very much too!!

    We don't allow our chickens to free range because of the hawks and coyotes. I love my chickies too much to let them get eaten!

    Oh and I'm working part-time at Hometown Market. It's tough standing for so long, but it's not a bad job and I only have to drive about 10 minutes! I put in an application at the propane place for a part-time job, but they really need someone more in the fall and winter so it may be closer to that time when they interview. I'm also thinking about trying to substitute as a lunchroom worker at some of the schools this fall too.

    Thank you! Cheryl will most definitely be missed, but how fortunate that she will soon be with our Father. Just praying for her family. What a difficult thing having to let go of your wife/mom. Hope we can do lunch again soon! I have an interview with a temp agency today.

2010

It has been several months since I have left a post. This past year definitelly had it's struggles. Pending divorce of a daughter, husband's job loss and issues with aging parents. But compared to the struggles of others ours have been minor I guess. We have high hopes that 2010 will bring some positive changes. The year started off well until Tuesday when we had an unexpected court date. We did not get to see the judge (which was dissappointing) but a settlement was finally reached. It was NOT what I was hoping. When a child has gone for several months without seeing certain family members and then all of a sudden those same people can remove him from our home for the day -I can't see anything good for the child coming from that. It's absolutely heart breaking! I know that God cares and wants the best for our little punkin but it will be a hard thing to swallow if this is what is best. God didn't promise all of His decisions were going to be easy for us though. Please keep our family in your prayers. We want what's best for our precious boy. Happy New Year!

God is good ALL the time!! He showers His blessings on us even when things seem bad. Chris was laid off from work a couple of months ago. Of course, this seems like a bad thing but our grandson doesn't always have someone to watch him so my husband does. It is a blessing that he is not working and can keep our little sweet boy. He refers to Chris as "Bop-Bop" and he loves him sooooo much! After having 3 daughters, it is a refreshing thing to have a boy around. And might I add he is ALL boy!! Lord willing , we have a beach trip planned in a couple of weeks and I REALLY need it! All of you out there please pray for great weather and safety for our family and close friends (who might as well be family!). It has been a stressful year and we could all use some refreshment.
