Gone to the long hair for a bit!

Most of you know I have long hair or should I say did have long hair. I love my hair, have ever since I was a small girl--I always had long hair give or take, but every so often I get it cut. Well this time I got 19 inches off of it 3 by trimage and 16 to donate. If you have never donated your hair it is a great thing. I can grow it so why not give it to those that need it worse then me? This is the 3rd time and not the last time. I do wish it grew faster tho. Little Lydia when I came home yesterday she started crying and asking where my hair was, she has always known me with long hair she asked me this morning when we awoke where my hair was. Although I felt bad that I altered her MaMa(which she has now resorted back to calling me and I LOVE IT!) I feel good about my new hair and feel good that someone is going to love it as much and much more then I did.

HOW IN THE WORLD DO I MAKE THEM SMALLER? LOL SORRY GUYS!

I am SO glad I cut off all of my hair! I still have the braid laying around somewhere to donate, I just haven't sent it in yet. I'm looking forward to the pictures!

That's a lot of hair! I hope you (and Lydia!) get used to the new length quickly. I've never been able to donate... mine is too fine and starts getting pretty damaged once it gets a few inches past your new length. I'm glad you were able to donate.

Your little icing clown sounds cute! I'll have to try it once I get a little better. Thanks for the tips! :)

That's indeed a LOT of hair! And even shorter, it's still longer than most! What a great gift!

That is great Tara! I'm about ready to do that to. The funny thing is that you still have longer hair even in the last picture :)

Nice! My hair is way too thin and fine to donate, would love to have some of yours though! Maybe you could give me a weave the next time you have it cut!

I loved the Twilight books. Couldn't put them down. But the movie was disappointing, mostly because the main characters were so bad. I agree, the scenery was beautiful and the other actors were pretty good, but Bella and Edward were awful, imho. =-)

Ok, I was trying to post this comment last night, but as I hit the "comment" button, it said, "TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES!" So if I've already said this somewhere else, forgive the repeat: You did have some SERIOUSLY long hair there, girlfriend! My hair is so baby fine, that if I ever did grow it long enough, the charities would probably just tell me thanks but no thanks! lol It's a very good thing you're doing.

I've tried to do donate my hair too but I can't stand it touching my neck so I end up cutting it LONG before it's even donatable. I'll have to contribute some other way!

That is wonderful that you did that. You are so right that it will go to good use. My MIL has cancer and is undergoing treatment. She has lost all her hair. She grateful to have her wig which is human hair and it is because of people like yourself. It means a great deal to her to still feel whole. So thank you in a BIG way.

Actually, I think we would definitely be interested. I think when you asked me before, I hadn't even decided what I wanted to do yet! :) But I think I would like to keep him in the room for a bit before moving him to the crib. So bring it on! Thanks!
