March Happenings!

* I have been working really hard on the house lately! All these projects that have been looming over my head the past year since we moved in have finally taken there toll on my mind...haha! I have been feeling pretty good so I am trying to get as much done as possible. Getting furniture, hanging pictures, decorating, curtains...whew it is exhausting, but I feel so much better after I get to mark something off THE LIST!

* We are so happy for Aunt Denise and Ron.....weddings are so wonderful :) Since I met her I have been amazed by her strength, godly example, and just pure beauty on the inside and out. I love seeing them together and all the happiness he brings her and she brings him! Although I have not know him for very long I can tell Ron is a wonderful, caring, God fearing man. He cherishes her and wants nothing more that to make her happy. There love for God and each other is so evident and again I am reminded that In His Time He Makes All Things Beautiful. I told her the other day I am about as happy for June to get here as August! Congrats Guys and We Love You!!!!

* I have been loving all this wonderful weather. The grass is starting to turn green and the sun feels so good! I have enjoyed walking outside finally :)

* Just a few more days till we know what our little peanut is.....yea!!! Everyone asks what we want, but we don't care at all! We are just so anxious to know and either way we feel so blessed! You can put YOUR guess here or on my facebook ;)

OK .......so I have been slacking on my pleo blog because I can only do one blog at a time (not the best multitasker ......which I might need to work on...ha)!! I have been keeping another blog I started in January just for Baby Walker. I did it that way so I could easily print it and keep it all on the same subject! So for those who are interested (my feeling will not be hurt if you really don't want to read about my emotions and pregnancy symptoms...ha) here it is

Needless to say we cried for the next few hours......make that the next few days. HAPPY TEARS of course :)

Hehe! I did that with a Kellogg's Danish-Go-Round on a mess-kit pan when I was in Boy Scouts. Heating a hard pastry over an open fire made it hard to tell when it was actually hot.

Maybe Brad can take it to the shop and sand-blast it.

theres a powder cleaner called bar keepers friend or something-and it comes in a gold container and it really good for cleaning pots and pans :)

There is a restaurant that I have to go to everytime I visit my parents in Colorado. I have never seen one here in the Houston Area! It is called Mimi's Cafe....YUM YUM!!!
Yesterday Brad said he was taking me to dinner and a movie.....but it was a surprise. YEA!!
We drove and drove and ended up in Pearland where there is NOW the first Mimi's Cafe in the Houston Area!! They said they opened up a year ago. I was so excited!

If you have never been you should check it out :)

After dinner Brad took me to a place called Swirl. Mimi's was near an outdoor mall and Swirl was right around the corner. You walk in and pick from about 10 different kinds of frozen yogurt. The cool thing is they charge you by the once so you can get a little or a lot depending on what you want. Then you add any topping (and they have a ton of choices) as many or as little as you would like. Wight it, pay for it, and enjoy it. OHHHH is was delicious! Swirl is definitely one of my new favorite places!

YUM! Their muffins are the best. I went to one in Montgomery with Matt and Jana and then I went to the one at the Pearland mall with my friend Karen about a month ago. I didn't know it was here either. I LOVE Mimi's. I was just telling Kathy about it the other day.

How fun! Glad y'all had a good time. I had never heard of either of those places till we moved to CA. There is one close to Mom and Dad in KY. last year, day after xmas I think, we were in CA so we all decided to go to Mimis at the same time (except it was 3 hours earlier in CA so they were eating lunch and we were eating breakfast. lol) but we planned the time and called each other...just like we were all together :)

What a thoughtful guy! Aaron and I had a weekend away in Orlando this past weekend, he has to be there for a conference this week, so he scheduled us to go a few days in advance. He planned a sweet dinner, took me to feed the dolphins at sea world and then made a day of NO plans strictly for us to relax by the pool, nap, and do NOTHING. Thankful for God providing our guys with good hearts and christian parents who raised them with great values!

thanks sweetie! I have been trying to do the count thing..and even counting sheep. I try not to watch tv PERIOD...except I find myself on FB or my GMAIL before bed alot. I do write stuff down before I turn the lights out...but that doesn't help me, because then I start to think when and how I will get that down the next day. I right now am taking Tranquil Sleep..it's a chewable vitamin that Ross got for me at Vitamin World...and well..we'll see. I've been real tired lately so maybe both of those are taking affect. I've tried the reading too...and I'll just read and read for like hours before I realize I am NOT falling asleep like I want! I have done Sudoko and that does help....and watching boring and/or movies I've seen a BILLION times that doesn't take much thought process. ....anyway...it's getting better THANK GOODNESS...I'll keep you updated!
