Maybe I've raised this question before, but I just keep seeing this so I'll ask again:

What is the proper social etiquette for using a cell phone while actively "engaged" in a public restroom?

I see this ALL the time in airport restrooms. Now I'm not questioning what you do in the privacy of your own personal throneroom, but I'd love to hear your thoughts about this one...

Etiquette...is not to use the phone in the restroom. If they are near you...just flush your toilet over and over and over, so the person they are talking to realizes where they are. ;-)

What job qualification would this fall under? Multitasking or being able to work under high pressured situations? Either way...I'm thinking conversations are best left outside of the restroom. Perhaps airports should have sanitary wipes especially for cell phones. :)

I find it REALLY annoying when people answer their phone in the bathroom. Seriously tell them you will call them back. A cell phone is for MY convenience not everyone else's. When you got in the restroom its not a convenient. Thats my two cents!

I believe it's in the same category as being in conversation with a person face-to-face. The call can wait. If it's an emergency they'll call back or leave a message.

No speaking in the restroom - period. Phone or otherwise. Also no eye contact, hand shaking, or standing within 2 feet of anyone at any time.

This totally hits a nerve with me. This woman that works on the same floor is in the restroom about 80% of the time I visit and she's ALWAYS talking on the phone, in the stall, at the mirror, etc. UBER annoying. Engaged or not, no phones should be used in public restrooms.

lol...I've seen that a lot too. And normally the people who are talking on the cell phone are really loud too, so that everyone in the restroom at the time can "enjoy" their conversation too.

Lol ive not experienced it w the phone except that my brother does that to me. Well be talking and i hear a flush! Creeps me out dont do that to anyone! Also girlier question... Going to the bathroom with girls who r telling u a story, do u halt the convo until u have exited the restroom? Some do, some keep talking from the next stall

Aaron, I had a great trip...leaving on Southwest today...not impressed with the service on Southwest on Friday...will tell you about it later to register my official complaint :) Several of the passengers on that flight said they never wanted to fly again because of how awful the flight was....Wish I could have seen you, but I'll be back next month :)

If you're coming on Monday, throw 6417 Beacon Vista, Grandbury, TX 76049, into your i-phone and it should get you there. Big picture is take 820 West until HWY 377, then head SW on 377 until Granbury. You'll turn off just before getting into town, as your handy-dandy i-phone will tell you.

What to bring:
-Sunblock
-More sunblock
-Towels
-Sandals/flip flops of some kind
-Life Jacket, if you have one
-Whatever else you want to

We'll be there all day so come whenever, we're grilling out dogs for lunch. Ask me and I'll let you know what food you can bring.

Should be a good time!
