Video Games on TV, Almost Certain Death, Falling Trees, and JamJam!!!

Video Games on TV
So, as I mentioned earlier, classes were canceled. To combat the boredom, Travis(of Fanboys fame) and I decided to play video games on television [kvrtv.com] and we had so much fun. We played all sorts of games from Samba de Amigo to Armada. It was wonderful.

Almost Certain Death
We took a one hour break to grab a bite to eat and slid down some of those iced over slope sidewalk thingos...it was fun. However...on the way down one slope, I had a little slip and fell on my ass. That's not the worst part. My friend Tate(of Puppet Show fame) let me know that I came "this close" [about 2 inches] from bashing my head on this metal bike rack that was next to me that would have certainly destroyed my noggin'.

Falling Trees
Today, it was a whole different ball game. I was walking home and as I walked underneath a tree, I heard a cracking noise, and then sorta bush shaking noise and then froze as a bunch of ice fell on me and my backpack. I looked up, but noticed nothing freaky. On my way back to campus I noticed that there was a broken tree limb being supported by a lower limb.

I kinda feel kinda weird...as if there are two cosmic forces toying with my life. One is trying to kill me and the other is thwart the plans of the first. I've named the latter "JamJam" and can only hope he keeps up the good work.

Snowed In!!!

Woah! Classes were cancelled today due to bad weather. This is Texas weather at its most extreme. On Saturday and Sunday it was beutiful with temperatures getting up to the 70s. I thought for sure that Spring was right around the corner and then BOOM! The temperature dropped so low that ice was all over the place, sleet was falling from the sky and the weatherman said there was a 90% chance of SNOW!!! I didn't actually go outside for the snow, but I believe it was there. Anyhoo...no class today, and if I'm lucky...no work either.

I am currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for my left and right legs.

Weekend O' Shootin'

Busy Busy Day!!! Okay, so after a grueling night of Master Control last night(8-11pm), I had to run a Scavenger Hunt for ACM. Everyone showed up and me and my faithful staff explained everything to them and set them free. Afterwards, I had lunch with Zara(girlfriend) and then had to immediately start shooting for the new episode of Fanboys. We shot from 5 until about 11. Now, I'm just waiting until 12, when the Scavenger Hunt will end and the judging will get done, and then...THEN I can get some rest. Oh yeah, I'm spending all day tomorrow shooting for Cooking Show...we're gonna be using my kitchen, so I guess I'd better clean. No rest for the long-haired.

Hippies are funny

Today was pretty neat at UT. They had this whole "walk out" to protest the war in Iraq. Er...the possibility of a probable preemptive strike on Iraq. There were lots of people, so I guess I'm glad it wasn't just a huge embarassment for them...even though I think it's completely rediculous.

However, by the number of people that showed up, I'm pretty sure it was really effective. I mean, as everyone knows, the way you end wars is by pissing off professors. And what better way to piss off your professor than by walking out of class! And check it, many people, like myself, didn't actually have class during the walk out. So, I was inadvertently protesting the war.

When will the killing stop?

Girlfriend

Alright, I haven't updated in forever...things have been busy. Lots of good things have happened. For instance...

I got a girlfriend!!! Her name is Zara and she's an advertising student at UT. She's waaay cute and really nice. Easily nicer than most girls I've gone out with.

Other than that, nothing much new is going on. Just school and work, like normal.
