I know I may be out numbered out there but I love August in Florida! I love how strong the sun's rays are and how there is a gentle breeze in the mornings! I really don't know if I ever want to live anywhere else than Florida. I also love the anticipation of storms...call me crazy. I love fact that for some people in country it means fall is just around the corner however I still have plenty of months of 80 degree weather and time by the pool and at the beach if I want! Woohoo! Anyone else share my thoughts on this? I'm thinking probably not many.

I enjoyed a fantastic walk this morning with the dogs. I've started yoga again in Temple Terrace with my mom and am loving it! Things are good here at the Kelly home.

Did Conner meet you last week when he went with Andrew to walk Bauer? He keeps talking about this lady with big dogs who wanted to know where a cat was that ran into the bushes?? Haha! Thanks for helping Andrea babysit tonight! One function down - three more to go! :)

Haha! Oh my! He did say "big cat". No wonder he is so concerned, he must have caught wind of the fact that it's a Bobcat (maybe where he got BIGcat from). Haha! I just figured if A was outside talking to someone with bigger dogs, it might be you. Haha! I'll have to clarify for him since he may now think that Crazy Lady is coming to babysit with Miss Andrea! :p

Sounds wonderful! It's hot and very humid here in Georgia. I would love that kind of weather. Glad all is well at your place. Give your Mom and Dad a big hello from me.
Yoga! Haven't tried that. Walk with our dog and just got a bicycle to ride outside. Whoohoo! not sure how an "old" person will do with that! Take care.

Summer

So it' summer in FL and it's raining! Big surprise! So far it's a good summer, work has been exceptionally busy the last week or so and will continue to be right through August. I'm good with that. In the last week I have spent 3 nights in my bed...due to work and a weekend wedding. I'm glad to be home for two weeks and not sleeping in a hotel.

This past weekend I got to go to B'ham to see some friends get married. I stayed at her parents house and it was just like old times (15 yrs ago). We laughed and hung out and ate good food. It feels like going home! My mom and sis were able to go too along with Sweet Baby Claire and I think people enjoyed getting to visit with all of us especially Mom. She hasn't been back to B'ham quite as much as Em and I have over the years.

Had a couple good visits with some friends today and that was nice. I love catching up and just chatting. I love having a neighbor that was once a silly little roommate of mine and that she comes over for coffee in the afternoons. We always laugh.

Took sometime procrastinating today and read through old blog entries and laughed at old times the things that seemed such a big deal. My favorites are reading my entries from when I lived with the girls in good ole' 1209, what fun times that I forget about!

I have a feeling I'm not using this new 3.0 to its full potential but then again....I don't think I use any of the online sites I'm on to their full potential. I just maintain. Don't be ashamed of my skills.

Thinking and praying for you today and baby Maddie! So many babies everywhere! None in the Kelly house just some pups that I love a lot and they're pretty cute if I do say so myself.

Home!

We are home from Europe!!!

We had an absolute blast! We spent two weeks going from Rome to Venice, to Milan, Paris and a day in London!

It was so neat to send two straight weeks with Matt and not have work, family, bills, whatever else to worry about. It was just us hanging out, eating good food and laughing a lot!

While over there we also met up with people we know. How weird is that?? Matt's aunt Michelle and uncle Curt were stopping in Paris for a few days on their way back from an African safari (CRAZY) and we got to hang out with them. This was especially nice for me since almost all of MK's family lives in Oregon and I've only met them all once before. It was a lot of fun getting to know them and hanging out. They were a blast!

We also ran into Matt and Sarah Fox in Paris and met them for lunch one day. How weird??!?

All in all we had a great time. We took over 1275 pictures while there! So there are some on Facebook but if you'd like to see more we also have a web album and I'll email you that link.

Your trip looks like it was such a blast! I hope one day Jared and I can do something like that... I guess we would need to stop having kids first. :p

That sounds amazing...what fun! and meeting up with people you knew!! Small world after all!! Glad you had so much fun! Haven't been to Paris or Rome...would love to do that some day! That is, before I get to old to enjoy it! lol
