PRAYER REQUEST
I am so sorry I have not posted on Robbie Sweetsir earlier. She has been in the St Thomas Hospital in Nashville since Friday, the 16th of March for heart surgery. She has had numerous surgeries since then and has been in a medically-induced coma for most of that time. For awhile only her husband was allowed to see her. Her mother and my mother worked together at Emerson Electric when we were all in school. I think Robbie is in her 40's. We worshipped together before I moved away. They are all still in Russellville KY and members of the same congregation, and I worshipped with them whenever I visited Kentucky. I have been blessed to see Robbie once since I've returned to Kentucky. My heart has just been so heavy in hurting for her and her family. Her family has been keeping a prayerful vigil with her at the hospital. They are so thankful for all the many prayers being offered up on Robbie's and their behalf. So I solicit your prayers for this precious family. Below is the most recent update from her older brother.
Update on Robbie Oakley Sweetsir: Friends and family, the doctor called the family together today because the news is just not good. The doctors have basically done about all they can do. The medication isn't helping as much as it had been. Robbie is having blood pressure problems and her liver is failing. Besides all this, she has an infection that the doctor thinks is pneumonia. He said Robbie is much worse now than she was just 36 hours ago and that soon we'll have "a decision to make." Reality really hit when the doctor looked at mom and said he has a three-year-old and that Mom has been on his mind for these two weeks. After stammering a bit, he looked at her and said, "I'm sorry." Then he quickly turned and walked away. Someone in the family noticed he was crying as he walked away. I had just looked at my sister, Carol Davis and said, "There's something he's trying to tell us, but can't." When he said that to Mom I said to Carol, "He just said it." Robbie is not doing well at all --- and is getting worse. Please keep praying.

Did you know your old profile, Catowner is back? My daughter-in-love, Rosemary, had her profile disappear when she changed her email address. Isn't that when yours disappeared, as well, right after you moved?
