Does anyone get on anymore?

Well, I hope I get into winter camp. I'm not living at home (much) which is where my mail is sent to so I got my application four days later than everyone else. I hope I get in but who knows? I will have to rob two banks to pay for it anyway because Nick and I are poor and on a tight budget. I thought it was fun to be budget-ing to begin with but now.... well, coffee sure LOOKS good.

My favorite holiday is coming up, no, not Christmas...THANKSGIVING! I love the turkey! Remember on Homeward Bound the very last line is TURKEY! Turkey, turkey, turkey. My favorite character on that movie was Shadow. I cried every time when Peter said, "He was too old, he just couldn't make it." And then Shadow comes out of the woods and says, "Peter, my Peter...I'm home." Oh...crying, right now!

Anyway, I'm sure a few skipped the above, so if you made it this far here is a quick summary of my life. Classes are good but my research paper due date is coming up and as of now I have yet to start it. I miss my friends but hopefully I'll be spending lots of quality time with them over the holidays (and cross your fingers-winter camp). And I'm still in love with a wonderful guy who looks great in flannel!

No, you do not have to dress up but, come on...it will be fun. We need the usual - bring a snack/drink. It's at Beth's house around 6:30. If everyone can bring $2-3 we'll also order pizza and give cash prizes to the 'best dressed-up'. Dress as you favorite TV or movie character (a million people have already said they are being Dwight by the way). Please call or post Beth or I so we know the basic number of people.

Seriously, I'm a little down. It's weird I guess, but I actually like going to UAH. It's tough, but I'm being challenged for a change - not in a mean way, just that high school was really easy. However, I am a little sad... I have friends in or going next year to Bama, Auburn, FC, UAB...and it is sad to me. Nick and I are going to be so lonely next year! I guess all of you will have to visit us a lot!
