Friends

When I lived in College Station I had two dogs, Pants( Shih Tzu) and Captain (Boxer), and they were the best of friends. When I moved to Oklahoma Pants came with me but Captian, being so big, got left with my old roommate. The separation was hard on all 3 of us. After a few weeks of Pants pouting we decided to get him a friend. We brought home a cute little white terrier mix who was 3 months old. Pants hated him. The new puppy could hardly even be in the same room with Pants without getting growled at. So, we took the puppy back and Pants was thankful. A few weeks ago we got a kitten and Pants showed an interest in her right away. Kitty however, was not as thrilled and hissed at Pants. After a few days she realized Pants was a sweet puppy and started to hang around him. By the end of the week they had become buddies. Now they play together all the time and even share toys. Who said cats and dogs hate each other!!!

Lust

There is a house we pass on the way to church that I am absolutely in love with. Its old and beautiful! I always joke about stopping to knock on the door to see if the owners would show me the inside. Sunday when we drove by there was a sale sign in the yard. Sadly there is no way we can afford it right now. I just hope the new owners take care of my house because I still plan to own it one day. At least now I have seen the inside...kinda
