I'm not much of a blogger these days. More of a lurker really. But I will try to update for real since that video of Jonah has been sitting there for way too long.

Date night with the husband tonight. We're going to Outback so he can get a big ol' man-sized steak. We never go there, so I'm looking forward to it.

Took advantage of the semi nice weather today and went to the park with the boys. I've already decided that Dylan is going to be my daredevil child that will worry me to death. He's kind of a climber and is more fearless than Jonah was at that age. He's also really clumsy. Not a great combination.

I finally caved in and started reading the Twilight books. I know, I know.... it's about time. I'm on the last one now. As much as I resisted getting pulled into the craze, they've actually got me kind of hooked. Not crazy about the movies, though. I watched the Twilight movie and was pretty unimpressed.

That's all I got for now.

i won't see the movies but i love the books!

I haven't read or seen anything to do with Twilight, no interest in it and the movie review of the 2nd one mentioned a lot of immodesty and 'sexual tension' so I didn't see a need to see that. Enjoy your date night. Did you get snow?

We celebrated Dylan's birthday a week early since the boys and I will be in Waxahachie next weekend for the Sacred Selections Fundraiser.

This is for nanny and pappy since they couldn't be here:

He was actually very neat when he he ate his cake. Didn't get on his clothes at all. Very little clean up, just the way I like it.

I'm a fan of very little cleanup.

So apparently, for whatever reason, Jonah missed a couple of vaccinations. Nothing I was too worried about except now he's going to have to get caught up before the end of the month or no more preschool. :( I guess we'll be dealing with that next week. I'm just guessing here... but I don't think that's going to be too fun.

Someone's going to be getting a lot of ice cream and whatever else he wants that day.

I'm sure you could talk papa into taking him for ice cream that day/night.
