I'm finally cashing in my gift card for a massage I got for my birthday in February that I talked about in my post over a month ago. I REALLY am going to do it this time. I actually made the appointment and everything.

Today I'm doing some shopping and getting things packed for Dylan to be gone for 2 weeks. That's a long time.... I'm going to miss his cuteness. Then Jonah's leaving Wednesday and will be gone a week and a half. I'll miss his cuteness too. They're both going to spend some time with nanny and pappy at singing school and then down in TX.

What ever will I do with myself?? I have a few things planned....

Sleep
Go to Colorado with Randall and have a much needed vacation with just the 2 of us
Sleep
Finally cash in my gift card to get massage that I got for my b-day back in February
Shop for maternity clothes because I'm already getting fat
Sleep
Attempt to get my house clean and organized
Hopefully have a girl's night that we've been trying to plan forEVER

I'm sure I'll find other things to do with my spare time. I'm looking forward to a little break, but I'm really going to miss my boys.

Oh and did I mention that I'm going to sleep in? Really looking forward to being able to do that.

Nanny & Pappy are enjoying his cuteness!! He's napping now - he's so precious!! He's doing fine, played with some other kids this morning, appears to be traumatized by the bathroom though - screams when we try to go in there, specially near the stalls. Don't worry - his teeth are getting brushed and he's had a spit bath or two. May attempt the pool bath later today. Can't wait for Jonah to get here too! We are truly blessed with wonderful, generous children - thanks for letting us have them for a short time.

Jonah was excitedly pulling out the goodies in his easter basket this morning and then said, "I didn't know the easter bunny shopped at wal-mart!" He's on to me.

But actually, the easter bunny shopped at target this year. In the dollar section. Because he's cheap.

Teaching the preschool bible class tonight. I'm not worried at all about the lesson or the whole teaching part. I'm more worried about being able to control my own son and get him to listen to me.

Because I can almost guarantee he's going to push all the limits tonight. He has some issues with authority. Particularly mine. and even more so when he's around other kids his age.

It's pretty sad actually.

I never taught Sarah for that reason and I always teach little ones. It is pretty common to have problems with your own kids in class.

There was some BRAT at Chick Fil A today in the play area who was trying to STRANGLE the other children. Then grandmother/caregiver did the pushover thing like 'wellllll if you can't play nice you're not going to get to go up there' while he was flailing in her arms and screaming.

As long as your son isn't trying to murder anyone yet that is good. :) :)

Take a paint stick with ya and pull it out hopefully to get his attention. Lori does that when she is teaching joshua or jonathan class.

I'm not much of a blogger these days. More of a lurker really. But I will try to update for real since that video of Jonah has been sitting there for way too long.

Date night with the husband tonight. We're going to Outback so he can get a big ol' man-sized steak. We never go there, so I'm looking forward to it.

Took advantage of the semi nice weather today and went to the park with the boys. I've already decided that Dylan is going to be my daredevil child that will worry me to death. He's kind of a climber and is more fearless than Jonah was at that age. He's also really clumsy. Not a great combination.

I finally caved in and started reading the Twilight books. I know, I know.... it's about time. I'm on the last one now. As much as I resisted getting pulled into the craze, they've actually got me kind of hooked. Not crazy about the movies, though. I watched the Twilight movie and was pretty unimpressed.

That's all I got for now.

i won't see the movies but i love the books!

I haven't read or seen anything to do with Twilight, no interest in it and the movie review of the 2nd one mentioned a lot of immodesty and 'sexual tension' so I didn't see a need to see that. Enjoy your date night. Did you get snow?
