well where do i begin, ive gone through about 2 months of school now, and i totally love it here. God has blessed me with amazing people all around me. school is cool, i mean its harder than highschool only because i kinda have to study to pass tests, grrr, so thats been annoying, but im slowly learning how to deal with this thing called college. oh and i am now 18, wow isnt that crazy!! i had the best birthday ever. started at 11:45 on the 29th of sept (the day b4 my bday) my friends Meghan, Jen, Kayce and Shawn (the girl my cousin) baked a cake for me and my friend Jourdan cuz her bday was the 29th, and everyone surprised us in the lobby of our dorms and we ate cake and were merry. Then at 2 in the morning i finally got to open a package that my mom had sent me the week before that had a bunch of random things in it that i love (goldfish and such). Then later when i thought i was going to eat dinner at the Old spagetti Factory downtown, i ended up having a surprise party at my sister's apartment with all of our freshmen buddies there, and we played pin the bowl cut on Leslie which was hilarious. then to finish the day we all went over to my friend Austin's house which is pretty much the most amazing house ive ever been to, he has a secret passage way through his bookshelves, and a movie room haha. so ya it was good times, oh and i got an Ipod shuffle which im listening to right now!! but ya im having a great time here, but i miss everyone soooo much, cant wait to see Sarah in like a week and a half, and Kory!! yay, hope everyone is doing amazingly well, have a great rest of the week!

well im here now!! i flew in on friday, tommorow i move in and then my parents leave tuesday morning. we've been shopping like crazy getting all the stuff for my room, my roommate and i have decided to just make our room filled with crazy bright colors. We bought matching sheets from target that have hot pink, lime green, blue, and orange in them. they are SUPER cute! haha but ya im really excited to get everything settled and to actually start this thing called college. But im not gonna lie, i miss everyone terribly, i was looking at my camp pics today and its just so crazy that that is all over now, but i cant wait till i have some fun stories to tell you about my experiences here. and i might be getting a digital camera for my bday, so hopefully ill be able to post some pics for everyone to see. Hope u all are doing fantastic, stay strong and pray for everything God is awesome.

oh ya speaking of praying to God i just had a moment in the past week when God totally answered a prayer. it happened when my fam and i had just got from morro bay and we realized that our garage door had been open the whole time which meant that Pooka ( our beautiful fat white kitty) had probably been out the whole time. well when we got home we noticed tht she wasnt there right away to meet us at the door like she usually was and then about 3 hours went by and there was still no sign of her. i began to get really worried becuase Pooka would always come running when she would hear us get home. I then went outside to look for her, and as i was out there i prayed to God asking Him to please let her find her way home and to be safe, i told him that it wasnt for me but for my mom because i knew that there was no way she could deal with losing her youngest child and most precious pet all in the same week. ( if any of you have been to my house u'll understand just what pooka means to us haha) well anyway about half an hour went by and my dad went outside and there she was running over to him whining her little brains out, haha he picked her up in the most non-gentle way possible and took her in to the house ( thats the only time ive ever seen him carry her ever) But i knew right when she came back that God had answered my prayer, it was so aweomse. I know that they may seem like a silly thing to ask for but i really think God read my heart and He knew just how much that meant to me for my mom not to have to lose my kitty. I immediately prayed again thanking him for my answered prayer, which is something that i know im bad at sometimes. I think a lot of the time, i know i do this, but i think we ask God for so much but then when it happens as we wanted we forget to thank Him, God is too wonderfully loving and merciful for us to forget to thank him for all the things He does for us.

this of course hasnt been the only case where God has answered my prayers or given me peace in a scary situation, i just wanted to share this one time with u guys, to maybe remind you that God has given us prayer for a reason He wants to talk to us and help us in our lives. i love you all very much and will miss you all until lord willing the next time we see eachother

As usual my vacation in Morro BAy was fantastic, it started wonderfully because we had a beautiful singing and i got to see many people from both nor cal and so cal camp! It was a fantastic break from the heat staying close to 65 all the time and of course the beach was gorgeous. I got to spend time with some close friends before we all go our seperate ways and also was able to praise God in song, how awesome is that! If you havent been to the Morro BAy singing i advise you to do so next year becuase it really is an awesome event. Oh ya and i played in the golf tournament which was super fuN! i had a blast with my cousin bryan, my uncle darrel, and my pretty much my uncle ken. But alas the summer must end, but i still am really excited about school, just a little sad that i have to say goodbye to so many wonderful people. :)

well both so cal and nor cal camps are done with and im kinda sad. They were as always two very fun and uplifting weeks. It was so great to be around all those people again and the camp friends were so awesome! But it seems like this whole summer has consisted of me saying goodbye to people, and its sooo sad, but then exciting at the same time because i know that im starting college soon! and im so super pumped that there are going to be so many fun awesome people at Western so close to me! im would name all of them but there seriously are so many, and that makes me so happy! But im so sad that im not going to be able to see all the people who are going to FC, i wish i could just take FC and move it to Nashville that way i could have everyone near me haha.........sigh but i know ill see everyone eventually. i just want to say that i wish all u FCers (that i love sooo much! *cough* Sarah Bormann *cough*) good luck next year, and everyone else who is going to college, im hope u all are as pumped as i am! not to say that im not nervous, because i am, im just really excited at the same time! haha Well i hope that everyone is having a fantastic summer! :)

Wow its been a while and today i was reading Andrew's awesome comments on marriage and it inpsired me to blog. Im sorry its been so long, i guess i just couldnt really think of anything to write about. well my life is just so crazy right now, crazy good that is, im about to be going to Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee and im so excited about it! I just got back from there tuesday, i had orientation and got registered for all my classes which im also really excited about, heres my schedule!

10:30-11:45 Lipscomb Seminar (Freshman requirement, kinda like an English class)

So thats my schedule, only 15 units, 14 without Accapella Singers, so not too bad. My major right now is nursing, which im really excited about because through this program at Lipscomb, i take classes my last 3 semesters at Vanderbilt University which is a really nice medical school in Nashville. But the best part is that i can graduate with a BSN which means i could work as a nurse right after I graduate! so im REALLY hoping that i like nursing and can keep pursuing it because i mean you never really know what your going to like, i could end up changing majors, but ive been praying about it and just keep asking God to guide me in whatever it is i need to be doing so ya.

but wow, its just so crazy how our lifes change so fast. College is definitely going to be very different but i know itll be really fun too. well, next week im off to SO Cal camp! yay im really excited, and then the next week ill be at Nor Cal camp!! Definitely going to be a great two weeks. Then after that its off to Morro Bay, where ill be competing in the annual golf tourney! and the singing!!! i love the singing, its always the good old songs and there always so many wonderful people there. So im definitely going to be having some great times before i go off to college, i leave August 12th! Lord Willing! Well i think this is long enough lol, i hope everyone is having or has had a fantastic day!
