Tonight was a rejoiceful occasion. I finally spoke to the elders at Southside regarding my decision not to return to baseball. After a twenty minute discussion, they all said, "I'm pleased with your decision." Others said they were happy that this day finally came. I pray that the Lord will guide the next move in my life. Whether it be going back to preaching or working at gas station somewhere, let Him decide. Hey, I could atleast get Monster drinks for a discount right?
I must admit this, I really posted a new entry because I hadn't received a reply in a day or so. I love reading your comments, they make me feel loved. So feel free to say as much as you'd like, cause I'll just read it over and over and over, ok, I'm over it now.
Love you all.

What blessing this day has been. Not only did we hear 2 great sermons from Bubba, the experience in this evenings devotional was remarkable.
Believe it or not, I was nervous all the day long because I had no warning ahead of time about me doing the devo. But the Spirit put something on my heart to say and I couldn't be more pleased. All I can keep thinking about is how thankful I am about my decision to not go back to baseball.
For all of you kids, by the way I don't like referring to you as kids, I mainly decided to not go back because of you. After tonight, you all made me feel grateful about my decision. Why I titled my entry in this way is because all of you said thank you tonight on your way out the door. It's the other way around.
Thank you all for your love and respect. Thank you all for believing in me with such great confidence. Thank you all for treating Leah and I as part of your group. Basically, all in a nutshell, thank you all for making your friend.
I Love all of you guys!
Keep a heads up. I'll be holding a devo on July 15th (Saturday) at my place again. All are welcome. For more info, keep checking the EllisHouseGang group.

Well ladies and gents. I am now passed the months and the weeks of waiting and in the final stage. I have less than 4 days. Can you say Yayah! This week has been totaly put at ease and I give all the credit to the Lord. He has graced me with patience and self control and He diserves all of the credit.
Now all I need is to pray for the weather to be cooperative on our honeymoon. We fly to Miami on Sunday and take off on a cruise for four days to the Bahamas. Please, Lord, no hurricane or Tropical stuff.

Yes that's right. 10 days to go and counting. I am constantly thinking of all the possble coutdowns like, 6 more times that I have to work out. Or, 4 more times that I have to go to school. How about his one, 2 more times that I need to take a shower. Well, if you don't mind pray for my patience and I hope to see most of you there at the wedding.
Love ya!
