Ross and I would like to request prayers for our brand new baby daughter. She was born via C-section on Wednesday the 30th at only 26 weeks due to issues with my blood pressure and enzymes increasing (preeclampsia WAY early!). Lindsey is doing as well as can be as expected...she weighed in at 2 pounds 1 oz and 14.5 inches long. She is beautiful and we couldn't be more in love with her. Please pray for her healing and that her doctors will know how to best take care of her. She will be in the NICU here in Tampa for quite some time. If you are on Facebook, you can see her and updates regarding her at her page that a friend has set up, "Loving Lindsey Grace".

I'm getting married!
Wow, time sure has flown since I've last been on here. A lot has happened since then...but I have found a wonderful and amazing man who I am going to marry in just one short week! We've been engaged since September...I've just never gotten around to posting about it!
I'm actually sitting here with my seamstress right now waiting on her to finish up my dress and what I'm using for my hair. Yeah, I know...it sounds last minute but no big deal. I just finally found shoes today. Things are slowly all coming together...still can't believe it's almost here.
We finally got the music straightened out for the ceremony...we're having a group called 7 Pounds of Bacon play for the ceremony...and Mr. Jerry Tesch will be playing guitar and singing a song for us right before we say our vows. I can't wait to hear it...and Adam Olson has done an amazing job on the ceremony. We got to read over all of it last weekend and I love it!!!
My dress along with my flower girl's have been made by a friend of mine. The flower girl's basket was handmade by another friend. I'm loving having all our friends help out and use their many talents. I have two amazing coordinators...or as Jessica Johnson puts it, they're choreographers! She's one of them and due to give birth on August 6th...the day before the wedding!!!!!
This whole wedding planning thing has had so many ups and downs, there have been several changes but it will all work out in the end. As Jessica being the wise choreographer says...as long as Ross and I are married at the end of the day, that's all that matters!

So...I feel like I've been all over the world and back since I left posted. I've been to South Carolina twice and to numerous Civil War reenactments.
I've made some good friends along the way...and I've made a rather special friend! He's a sweetheart and amazes me every time I turn around. He's a mechanic and is also working on renewing his massage license...and the guy can sew. I can't really complain! I can't wait for him to meet a few dear friends of mine up in Tennessee in July!!
In other news...big surprise...I'm heading out on another trip tomorrow! I will be boarding a ship for my first cruise! I'm going with my mom, aunt, uncle and one of my mom's friends. I'm supposed to be packing for it...but decided I needed to take a break. Camera battery is charging, clothes are ironed...and most everything is pulled out that I need...it's just a matter of fitting it all in the suitcase. That's the part I hate!

So I'm down here in Ft. Myers for work and sitting here in my hotel room just pondering things. I got to see Ryan tonight which was nice.
It's been an evening of enlightenment in many ways. Just to name a few...cake batter ice cream and white chocolate chips do NOT make a good combination. Old friends can often have good advice, even if they think you've chosen one too many losers in your time. Dating is not a bad idea if done wisely.
I'm heading off to Tally on Friday for the weekend...gotta go attend a Civil War Christmas party. This should be interesting.
I'm tired of wondering and not knowing things. It's time, way past time, to start asking questions and actually getting answers. Don't be surprised if you hear from me with a seemingly out of the blue question...it may not be as out there as it seems. Even if it is, there's a reason for me asking...so give me the answer!

So...I started my new job last Tuesday, and it feels good to both be back at work and to be back working with people I've known for a few years. It kind of felt like coming home when I walked in to the office.
Now I'm off to Tallahassee for Homecoming, and as always, I'm sure it will be an adventure. Thankfully I was able to take Friday off as planned to go get some errands done on Friday before all the festivities start.
Not too much else is going on...traveling all over the place of course, but that's nothing new for me.
Happy Birthday to a
dear friend of mine on Friday!!! (I doubt I'll be posting again before then, so I thought I'd mention it)
