Partial weekend recap...
I'm going to blog for real this time
Friday: Well, I guess I shall say that Reggie spent the night at our house Thursday night, and we had a BLAST with him, hes been out of town for ages doing TeenPact staff, we've missed our brotha so much! It was good to see him and hang out :) Anyway Friday morning, we wake up, get ready for the day etc. And I hear that it is Pajama day at co-op, so it takes me forever and a day to decide what nightime wardrobe I shall be presenting at co-op. (I decided to wear my pink plaid bottoms and a black shirt with a red tank top and flip flops, the two colors didn't coincide whatsoever :) Co-op went great, I had a blast laying in the sun during history class (I'm not in history class, but a series of unfortunate events took place in the other class I was supposed to be in) After co-op, we go to eat at this Chinese resteraunt with some friends before heading over to the High School Scavenger Hunt. I ate a bout a bajillion Chinese donuts! And my fortune cookie said "courtesy opens many doors" Haha quite the pun. After, dinner, we went to the Vinings house to begin the digital scavenger hunt. At first, I didn't get into the car that I wanted, I was utterly ticked off, because I got stuck in a van with people I did not know... But it turns out, I was in the WINNING van! First place baby! :) After the scavenger hunt ended, we all just stayed at the Vinings house and had "fellowship" (we CFE homeschoolers dont "hang out" we "have fellowship"...) until about 11:00 at night, woah, was not expecting to be there that long :p
Saturday: tournament day in Farmerville, Louisiana! (Not to be confused with Farmville, Facebook...) Yes yes a volleyball tournament... My sister and I rode with some girls from the team. We had to be there at 12:30, for our first game started at 1:00, second at 2:00 and third at 3:00. thus making our games back, to back, TO BACK! Exhausting ain't it? We get there at around 12:20.. Eh we got time to spare.. So we all walk in to our "locker room" which was actually just some glorified closet, and sat there and ate, stretched etc. until it was time to start warming up.
First game, we lost... everyone was disappointed.. I dont mean to exaserbate things, but coach didnt put out the usual six starters, which made me a little angry. And when she put me out in the game (I am a starter) I was with some of the... Less experianced players... Things started to shape up in the second and third game, for lo we had won them! :) Then we headed home. The end

This is a great update! The Chinese donuts made me laugh. When he was a little boy, he sat over his plate at a local Chinese restaurant and declared, "I LOVE Chinese food!!!!" The plate contained Chinese donuts, chocolate pudding and white rice. We've laughed about that for at least ten years!! -
