Kennon has fixed my blog and my friends are all unblocked. At least, as far as I know.

Kennon was not sure why it happened, but hopefully it won’t happen any more.

I seem to have a glitch or something in my Pleo . A couple of my long time Pleo friends suddenly are uable to access my blog. My name on thier friends list lights up, but when they click on it, they get sent to the Pleo home page (the page that shows when signing on). They can read my comments on other friend’s blogs, but when they click on my name under the comment, it takes them to the Pleo home page again. When their name is highlighted in my friends list, I CAN see her blog entry, and when I click on it, and I CAN leave a comment on their entry and they CAN read it. But again, when they click my name under my comment, it takes them to the main Pleo page. Not my blog. One of these two friends has even tried putting my user name in the URL address in her browser window. Still, she is unable to access my Pleo blog. They are Gold and I am not. We used to be able to read each other’s entries.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, go to one of your friends blogs and you will see "block user" below their blurb and above their profile. It will be under the send message feature.

A few weeks back I changed an earlier entry that I had made, while I was looking back at my old entries. I deleted a link to a video. But I don’t know how that could have changed my friends ability to access my blog, or even if it did, but that was the only thing I can think of that has changed on my end. They don’t think anything has changed on their end. Once again, I can still see and access their blogs, but they cannot see or access mine. So far, they are the only two friends that I am aware of that has this problem. She has had this problem with my blog for more than a week, but today friend number two noticed that she now has this problem too.

UPDATE: 12/21/09 Evening.
Today, I clicked on "unblock user" as per her suggestion, but it will NOT unblock. I have several times. But although it says “User unblocked”, in green letters, on the upper left hand side of their blog right after I click on the “unblock user” button, the “unblock user”. But then the block does NOT change back to “block user” as it should be.

I have restarted my browser (firefox). I have logged out of Pleo and logged back in, hoping to reset the blocked user feature. I have even restarted my computer and their blogs still remain blocked. I assume that their blogs are STILL blocked, because I can still see "unblock user" on her page. When I go to a different friends, blog I can see “block user” on their blog. That is why I think my friends are NOT unblocked yet.

My two friends have confirmed that they are still blocked.

I didn't even know there was a blocking feature like this. I couldn’t have made the same mistake twice. Especially since I was alerted to the problem by the first friend. But why won’t it say that it is unblocked after I’ve unblocked it? A little window comes up, when I click “unblock user” and it asks me if I’m sure I want to unblock. I click on OK and then the little OK window disappears and nothing happens. I have no clue about what is really going on.

Could someone be messing with my blog? Do I have a bug/virus?

I have alerted Kennon, and I’ve also left a message in the “report bugs” section of the Pleo home page. I don’t know what else to do. I really hope I don’t have a mysterious intruder messing with my Pleo, or have a mysterious virus. It seemed like a weird mistake I had somehow made, until two friends came down with it, and then I find I am unable to undo either of their blocks.

I FEEL LIKE I AM THE “TYPHOID BLOCKER” (that I carry the friend blocking virus), I truly hope this is not the case. But if someone else gets this problem, I’d like to know. I hope somehow I’m NOT causing it, or spreading it. Sorry to scare you. I hope it turns out to be a simple glitch that Kennon can fix.

A friend told me that they couldn't access my Pleo blog. I had changed an earlier entry several days ago, and maybe it messed up my current entry. But, I was due for a new entry anyway. It's just that I don't really have anything to say just now. So if you can read this, my blog must be fixed. Let me know if it worked for you, and I'll start thinking up something genuine to say.

I have been meaning to post this for a long time. I think about this a lot.
I generally do not like paraphrase bibles, but these verses are an exception. Because they are so differently worded, they seem to be more clearly said.


Corinthians 13: 4-7 (New Living Translation)

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way.
