Wouldn't you have loved to have been Adam when he named all the animals? If you could travel back in time and trade places with any biblical character for a day or an event, who would it be and why?

The girls' heart appointment went well. Our doctor did not think there was very much change from the ECHOs taken six months ago. He does not think Maddie needs a mitral valve replacement at this time, and he said he's pretty sure Laynie is stable at this point. He would like us to make a trip to the U of M hospital in Minneapolis to get a second opinion from our cardiologist there. We talked about the fact that both girls are sleeping more and seem to get fatigued easily. He does think both are heart related issues.
Thank you so much for praying for our family. I know I am very blessed to have so many people in our lives who pray diligently for us and it is a constant source of comfort and strength.
Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

My appointment at the oncology office went well and I will need to be followed closely but have no further treatment at this time.
Laynie and Maddie's heart appointments are Thursday and I will be calling our neurosurgeon about Laynie's lack of improvement with intrathecal therapy so she can be evaluated for decompression surgery.
Thank you for your fervent prayers, my loving and faithful friends. Our God is merciful, compassionate, and wise in His plan for all of us and I trust in Him. I just cry sometimes while doing so.

Today we received some bad news about Laynie. Our doc thinks she will need a spinal decompression surgery, something I hoped we would never ever hear.
On Monday, I received a phone call with the results of a breast MRI I had last week. I have a new mass near my lymph nodes and will be going in for a third set of tests on Monday.
Next week, Maddie and Laynie have an appointment with our cardiologist to discuss heart valve replacements.(an OH procedure) I am concerned about each girl needing this surgery.
I know we are told not to worry about tomorrow, but we are also told to share our burdens.
If you were me, how would you solicit help, prayers, and strength? I just need a little encouragement to keep it all together.
praying for Laynie. that is all. oh...love you too!
