today...
i ran over a squirrel.
on the way back, it was laying belly up and the white was blazing accusations at me.
i felt really bad, but at the same time, the squirrel was an idiot. it was on the other side of the road, and then darted in front of me. i was in a hurry, and if i had swirved i would have wrecked no doubt.
"it is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation."
-Herman Melville
also, since a just got back from Mcadory's first home game...
"People often ask me what i do in the winter when there's no baseball. i'll tell you what i do- stare out the window and wait for spring."
-Rogers Hornsby
