a friend of mine passed away early this morning who had cancer. She was a Christian. Please keep her family in your prayers as they are dealing with a hard time right now. She was 27 years old.

So, I guess it's time for me to update. Everything is going very well. My parents were just up here for two weekends in a row to see their kids. :) It was fun having them here...I just keep trying to convince them to move to Lubbock. Justin and I are good...We just moved into a little bit bigger apartment with a washer and dryer (finally!!) and we got a puppy! We got a sheltie thats about 4 months old now. I guess he takes the place of us having kids for now. :) If I can ever figure out how to post pictures on here I'll post some of us!
Justin is going to start at Tech in the fall and he's just working alot for the summer. I'm just busy working and delivering all those babies! Well, I hope everyone is doing well!

I remember having to haul my laundry all over the place when lived in Lubbock. It makes such a difference to have them in your apartment! We miss seeing you guys, and your parents, too. I wish we were local so you could deliver my baby!!! :)

Cold Weather...

It has been extremely cold here the past few days. I don't think that it's gotten above freezing all day! I had to go to Target to buy tights and warm boots the other day because there was no way I was leaving the house in a skirt without tights and warm boots underneath!
I have been staying really busy with work! On my days off I'm still subbing every now and then. I subbed for 1st grade on Tuesday and let me tell you..it wasn't easy! :) I'm sure if I were their regular teacher, it wouldn't be so bad, but even 6 year olds will test you as much as they can. I thought it was just high school! I think I will stick to my easy job of delivering babies!

Married life is wonderful. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband..it still feels weird saying that...sometimes I look over on the couch and think..."WOW! He's my husband!" :)

it is amazing isn't it? It is such an awesome feeling knowing you are going to be together for life! Feels too good to be true sometimes. I am enjoying the sunshine today-we don't get much of that here! Stay warm!

I think the same thing sometimes! It's wonderful being married and I never want it any other way :) Sometimes I think wow, I'm a wife! and then I look over on the couch like you said and I am so proud my husband is sitting beside me :)

After 35 years, Jimmy and I both are sometimes amazed to be married. That probably sounds silly, but it's true. "WOW! He's my husband!" I'm so glad you're happy. And subbing is harder than being the regular teacher, to me.

There is just something about those husbands. Greg and I have been through some great times and some really rough times. Even though we have argued on more than one occasion and things are not always perfect, I can proudly say that he is still my best friend in the whole world who I can talk to about anything and everything. It's great to always have that special someone there beside you.
