I love knowing that I don't have to wake up in the morning for work!
If I could invent the way the world works, I'd do a few things different:
3 day weekends
Dog poop evaporates
Just like water, soda is free too.
Socks couldn't get lost.
When you got home from a trip, your suitcase unpacks itself

Yesterday I flew home from Alabama. Will's sister Rosemary was passing through Dothan, and easily could have taken me to the Birmingham airport. In all honesty, it really did make more sense to have her take me, than have Will drive 3 hours each way. I was selfish though and really wanted to spend those last few hours with Will, and plus I get nervous in cars with people I don't know really well...
It ends up, that my anxieties and selfishness were used as a blessing by God. Will was planning to go to Geneva yesterday to check in with one of his customers if I didn't have him take me to the airport. Perhaps you've heard about the massive shootings in Geneva, AL? The shooter killed 10 people before ending his murder spree at the very location Will was going to be at! He could have easily been caught in the cross fire. I heard that the shooter used his automatic weapons there and was firing like crazy at the police. Eventually he killed himself.
We feel very blessed that Will wasn't at the wrong place at the wrong time. The shootings took place between 3:30 and 4:30, perhaps Will would have already left...but who knows?
We have been truly taken care of during all of our travels to see each other. I can't wait to not have to fly back and forth so often, and spend weeks at a time waiting to be together again. I'm just praying that God continues to keep us safe.
On a lighter note:
We spent this past weekend planting flowers and bushes in his front yard. "our" front yard! They're beautiful, and it was great fun! The house looks great Doing projects together is really fun. When I'm out there in April we're going to paint the rooms inside!
Hope you're all having a nice week! Happy March 11th....only 100 days left until the wedding!

I busted out my trusty cell phone calender and counted the days until our wedding. I think we have 112 left! Not too too many I guess! I'm flying out to Alabama next Saturday. I'll be there until tuesday...which will be our longest time together since the christmas holidays. Lately we've just gotten 2-3 day weekends.
My wedding dress came in, and today I got to go try it on and try to find shoes and a veil. Still working on that, but hopefully it will come together soon!
Sometimes the stress of the wedding, moving across the country, work, and Lupus can get to be too much for me. There is great comfort in knowing that everything will always be alright for those who love the Lord.
My favorite chapter to read is Psalm 91. Especially verse 2. Makes me not feel alone. I greatly recommend it!
Will has been so wonderful in doing his best to make these transitions easier for me. I'm thankful for him, and for all of the kind folks back where he lives who have been so welcoming. I know everything will be ok. And chances are, they'll be better than ok!
I'm sad to leave my family, my church family, and friends here. Mom told me "nothing is forever" and so I'm trying to remember that.
Tonight I went to a singing out in Pleasanton, at the Liszt home. It was very uplifting and good to see old friends. I always enjoy heart to hearts with Miss Arleen!
Now it's off to bed for me...looking forward to some calm sleep!

Yesterday we had our soup-er-bowl party at my Grandpa and Grandma's! It was a blast, as always...it's been great having my Nay cousins visit. I got some quality time playing with the latest great-grand child of the family, Justin. He's cute--we got to watch him take a few of his first steps--so cute! He's supposed to be in our wedding in June, and I'm hoping he does something crazy during it. Who knows where he'll go, but I doubt he'll make it down the isle! I'm so excited about our day!
This weekend was really special for me and Will. Since our engagement, I've been spending time with my Mom planning the wedding--and she's been so helpful, keeping me going, but really doing more work than me! Anyone who knows William knows that he LOVES weddings. He always calls them "the biggest day of these two peoples' lives!" This weekend was very special because he flew in and we got to go to the tastings of different caterers for our wedding venue. He took his food choosing job VERY SERIOUSLY, it was cute! He also got to pick out tuxes and model the jackets for me :)
We're rather blessed--and get to see each other next weekend in Tampa as well as Valentine's weekend (our 6 month anniversary!) out here in CA. I'm hoping to go to Monterey for the day! (hope you're reading this William!) I'm so thankful that my parents really encouraged me to finish college and get a job, so that we can afford these trips and have our relationship grow, like it ought to!
Hope you all are doing wonderfully!
