Rylann Turned 1

I cried at the end of "Happy Birthday To You!" She's only 1 and I'm already so proud of her, and so thankful for her!

Happy Birthday, Rylann! Hope and pray that you have many more with your sweet, tender-hearted Momma. :)

Thanksgiving and such!

Thanksgiving was great! We spent it in Lafayette, TN with Will's momma (aka Momma Chil) and his sister Rosemary and her bf Sam-Boy.

Sam was scared of my prego belly... so I abused him and bumped his arm with it. I guess I'm teaching my baby how to be annoying early in life.

We went to visit his Mamaw and a few cousins who were all hilarious and sweet to us!

Then we headed over to Cookeville to spend some time with my cousin Todd and his family, as well as my brother Noah and cousin Hailey.

We stayed up late there, and Will won their annual game of RISK!

On the drive back to AL we stopped in Nashville to see the lovely McGee's, Dave and Rose. Dave made us some yummy multi-tiered dessert.

Then we drove and drove. It's getting harder in the car with how often I have to potty, and how hard it is to catch my breath in those seats...not to mention my leg going numb!

Hope you all had a lovely holiday as well! Our Christmas tree is up, and we're loving these December evenings together!

I know, it would have to be such a hard thing for the hubby to see his wifes stomach cut open on the operating table! Poor Alex, I hope he doesn't have to see that! I hope Will doesn't have to see that either! Lets pray that neither of us have to have caesarians!

Also, speaking of partying in the womb, I chowed down on way too many lemon heads last night, and that really got my baby doing cartwheels! I'll have to try the Dr. Pepper and chocolate sometime!

How far is Dothan from Thomasville? Sad I missed ya! Also, did I hear you all are moving? Where to?

BABY!

Things I've learned about my lil baby girl recently:

1. She's got a sense of humor.
-She loves to kick my bladder, even after I ask her to stop three times in a row!

2. She doesn't like light.
-I shined the flashlight on her and she rolled away...I appreciate her love for the dark and her ability to sleep in with me in the morning! (Hoping this lasts past birth!)

3. She likes to kick her Dad.
-Could get her into trouble in the future, but for now it's adorable, and he loves it.

Haha, that is wonderful! Congratulations! Thanks for still reading my blog, haha. ;) Yes, we have plans to visit most of those places you suggested. We just have to wait a few months until we are caught up financially from the move! Aww....February! I am so excited for you! :) There's nothing like being a Mommy!! Haha, and I am so fortunate to have my almost-five-year-old sleep in with me (but it didn't start out that way, so brace yourself, haha)! :)

Ha ! You shined a flashlight on her! How nice to get a response! Next time she kicks your bladder, maybe you can poke her strongly. I wonder if that will get the message across! Alex felt our baby kicking for his first time the other night. So fun!

September

Why hello there, growing belly.

This weekend we went down to Orlando for a few days. Mom drove up to Bowling Green to see Noah while Will and I had a little getaway! This Thursday the rest of the Warren fam is coming in-- Dad, Seth, and Noah. All coming to celebrate and find out the gender of LB. I feel special, and I'm sure the kiddo feels really cool!

We're looking forward to attending Byron Fanning's wedding in November and meeting his bride! Will's training for a half-marathon in December that he'll be running it with Rosemary :0 I'm proud of them, they are both working so hard!

We bought our crib-- they said it could take up to 6-8 weeks to be ready, but it came in after just 2 weeks. That was exciting news! Currently we don't have anywhere to put it because what someday will be the baby's room is currently Will's home office. I think we're planning on combining the guest room and Will's office in the next few months! Sorry future guests, it may be crowded!

Kristen, you're great, can I just say that? Have fun with the family! That's so fun, all getting together to find out the gender. :)

Mine is due March 6th! I'm about two weeks behind you. That is interesting about it being hard to get up because of the muscles separating and not because of the big belly. That explains it. That is so exciting that it is a girl! I am kind of hoping ours is a girl, but of course I'll be thrilled either way! We haven't bought any baby furniture yet, we are converting the garage so that we can keep our musical equipment in there and make the current music room our baby's room.

Closet Clean!

Well, the "all-day sickness" has pretty much ended! I am so so thankful for that. I've heard of gals who are sick like that for all of the 9 months... I don't think I could do it!! Now I'm just sleepy sleepy sleepy. But I much prefer that!

We've had tons of company lately. Some kids passing through on their way to FC, other cousins came to visit me, and Dave and Rose McGee came and hung out for an evening! It's been fun. Now we're gearing up for my mom and dad to visit! They are going to the 18 week ultrasound to find out the big news-- boy/girl?! That's on Sept. 24th.

Yesterday we worked for about 4 hours on our walk-in closet. It's SO SO SO SO SO SO clean now that I feel like we have an extra bedroom in the house. I might even camp there one night, just for the fun of it! I cleaned it out last year when I moved in, but Will wasn't home to help-- so I didn't know which of his clothes he didn't want anymore. This year's cleaning was much more fruitful! 4 bags full to Good Will! The oldest T-Shirt we found was from when Will was in 7th grade. Impressive, I must say.

Have any of you ever seen the Blue Man Group? We're going in a few weekends down in Orlando. I'm looking forward to it, but just realized that I know nothing about them!

I guess that's it for now-- Have a great week!

I'm glad the all day sickness is going away! It's been going away for me too, and it's such a relief, isn't it? I've never been to Blue Man Group, but I've heard it's a really neat show. My parents went to one of their concerts once, and they did a lot of crazy things. I know they create music out of unusual objects, for one.
