Spring is in the air

I'm at my parent's house tonight and the windows are open and I am loving the cool breeze and fresh air!
I am loving the warmer weather and the chance for me and Becca to get back to taking walks! She loves to be outside!! We are finally getting a green yard so that is exciting not to see so much mud!
Becca is getting bigger and bigger and so smart!!
We have had a lot of fun with family lately. Becca loves all her new baby cousins and we look forward to more on the way! yay!
We are all healthy and happy and can't complain!

    Heard that! I've been receiving a newsletter from Scrap Etc. I didn't know Elizabeth did photography. Of course, now I realize she did the one you have on your page here. She does beautiful work and I seriously need to come take one of her classes. I have a Nikon D40 that I really have no idea what to do with other than just the basics. I want to be able to take beautiful pictures of my little Slaten!

My how time flys

Well I'm really tired of seeing that entry from 3 months ago.
I just never feel like updating. But since I'm up and it's quiet in the house, I'm enjoying a moment to myself.
Well we have now been in our house 3 months! WOW!
Becca sure has made herself at home...as I look around the room and see her toys everywhere!! I haven't felt good this week...chest cold...so I haven't kept the house picked up as usual.
I thought the bigger house might be hard to keep clean, but it's not too bad. I have a lot to mop...but I manage..speaking of which it's about that time again.
We still have a dirt yard, but hopefully soon we will have grass.
My dad has taken it upon himself to landscape. He very much enjoys it so I say have at it. I look forward to planting flowers and a garden this spring!
Well this is the spring for babies. My cousin had a baby about 4 weeks ago. Carol had baby Blake a few weeks ago. Andrew's cousin had a baby last week. My sister is due in a month. I have another cousin due in May. And then there's all the friends that are pregnant. Of course I am wishing I was one of those expecting mama's. But for now, I'll try to enjoy everyone else's little ones.
My little one is not so little anymore. She is so smart and learning so fast! She has a temper like her mama and daddy and has learned to push the bounderies. She is still a sweet child that lights up a room, but she's 2, and we are trying to be patient with this trying stage.
Well I don't know what else to say, I just wanted to replace the old entry. I'll try to update with some pics next.

Thanksgiving Week!

Yeah! This is just the best time of year!
I love thanksgiving and being with family. I love to stop and think about all our blessing and we have been SO blessed this year.
SO much to be thankful for!
This past month has brought so much change!:
-Loss of Andrew's dear grandmother
-Marriage of two dear friends
-Moving into a new house
-Becca moving to her Big girl bed
-Becca turning 2!
It's been a busy time. I look forward to the holidays to relax some and be with family and I can't wait to decorate our new house for christmas!

I love new babies!

So my dear friend Hayes finally had her 6th baby yesterday!
He was a whopping 11 lb 7 oz! Hayes is a remarkable woman, and I really admire her strength!
I got to hold the sweet baby and of course I'm in love! I really want another baby, just not quite so big. hehe
Becca has 2 playmates today. We brought William(6) and Isaac(2) home to play for a couple days. They are doing well for the most part. Our house is just not big enough for 3 children. OH how nice it will be in the new house!!! YAY!!!!
