Life is good. Marriage is happy. School is not killing me yet. Work is incredibly understaffed and chaotic--but I am choosing to accentuate that this simply means my job is secure, and for that I am thankful.

None of that masks the fact that I am only making this entry as an excuse to share that xkcd comic.

I was planning to take a break from school before pursuing graduate programs?

Apparently, I was just kidding.

I just emailed my form accepting the spot that I have been given in the University of Texas at Arlington's Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program, starting in the fall!

The only big bummer so far: Mandatory orientation happens during Singing School.

So I'll just have to miss that day.

    You are one of those forever students! haha. That's okay because I'm already thinking about when I want to start learning vascular. I've have a few doctors at the hospital ask me if i do both echo and vascular because they need techs in their offices.. and that's where I would LOVE to end up. M-F, 8-5, no call.. in a perfect world right?
