Praise the Lord!
I am forgiven!
And my Father up in heaven knows and hears and will be with me; Praise the Lord!
I am His child!
"Praise the Lord... for He is good: His mercy will endure for ever."
The girls had a Thanksgiving Feast at thier home school group, it was so much fun and everyone was dressed so cute! For the first time ever, I sewed costumes for them. It was so much fun and they loved them!
The Rice Tribe (Olivia said they were Indian worriers)
Here is a group picture of our home school group... Classicial Conversations.
The next set of pictures are just some that were taken one Sunday morning...
My three girls!! We love you mawmaw and pawpaw!
(My parents don't do FB so this was for them and my pleo friends too. :) )
Every morning when I smell the coffee brewing, it reminds me of Pawpaw. He really loved his coffee. He was the one that actually gave me my first cup of coffee. :) I will never forget that Sunday afternoon.
I don't feel 30, wonder if that means I don't look 30?! I ran 3.1 miles this morning to start off the day. I actually ran it pretty fast...33mins. One of the moms I run with (3x a week) is 24 and she runs FAST! So my goal this morning was to keep up with her and NOT look like I was about to die when I got done. I stayed right on her heals the whole time and felt great when we finished. How's that for 30?
I have been running anywhere from 3.1 to 6.2 miles 3x a week for 9 months. I really feel great! I am working towards a 1/2 a marathon then maybe one day, in the FAAAR future, I will run a marathon. Don't know if that will actually happen, but nice to think about it. :) But 13.1, 1/2 a marathon I can totally see.
You know they say, "you are only as young as you feel" and right now I feel about 26, hahahahahaha!
A couple of Sunday's ago while attending services is Lakeland and man said, "how old are you... 25/26?" I laughed and said, "no, 29." His wife was standing with him and said "well, I guess we were way off on that one!" We all started laughing. Of course I wasn't offended one bit! :-D
Our first day of school went great! The girls and I really had fun! Olivia is in kindergarten, Emma preschool and Julia "whatever the other 2 are doing ;)". The girls are still so young so we do not feel the need to be rigid with them. Our main focus is reading and phonics. We bought each of the girls a bulletin board to help with the phonics. They got to decorate the boards as they pleased, we even too punch out letters and decorated their names for their boards. It was a lot of fun!
Each week the girls will be introduced to new letter and it's sound. After being introduced we then find pictures or words that start with that letter and put them their boards. Even Julia (3yrs old) has gone about her day then comes to me and say "mama, mama..."F" says /f/... as in frog!" It is then we go find a picture to color and put on her board.
With Liv we go a little deeper. She, of course, does her board but we work a little more with her in talking about words that start with the letter, writing, and even do some worksheets.
So far a good start to our year! Here are some pix for you to enjoy :)
Emma, wrote the letter "F" on her white board.
Olivia's letter "F" along with a fish she drew.
