Profound Discovery

I have learned 2 valuable lessons:

1. The thoery of saving your food up to make it last longer DOES NOT WORK! Especially with a such a dinky refrigerator as we have.

2. Massive amounts of exercise and caffiene are no substitute for SLEEP!

Those are very valuable lessons. We learn something new every day. ;)

Ah, the pleasures of home.

Washing dishes in a kitchen sink...

Cooking in an actual kitchen...

Sleeping the day away in a standard bed...

Talking about books and composers with my sister...

Studying in my study...

Making and drinking coffee...

Weighing myself...

Spending time with family and old friends...

~Ahhhhh~

I didn't find the washing dishes too pleasureable during my break. And I don't think weighing myself would be fun either, especially after eating so much! And I personally think sleeping on the ground in a sleeping bag and tent tops all places to sleep! I guess all people have different views!

Yes, I'm updating!

With the exception of my major weight-loss post, I've noticed that my last 20-or-so blogs have been rather grimm. So I'll try to lighten things up a little. *Ahem*

Florida College so far has been a wonderful experience. The first semester had been kinda rough with trying to adjust to a new living space. No matter, I am 100 times happier/better mentally, emotionally, physically, SPIRITUALLY!

Spring Break starts this weekend! I'm so excited about going home Friday! ...and seeing that beautiful Georgia/Alabama landscape! ...and doing all the things I love to do at home! ...and catching up with my 2 BFFs!

I'm sure when I'm home, I'll come up with something else to say.

TTFN, ta ta for now!

    yay! happy spring break!

I think I'll post now before my internet stops working.

My mom says that I dwell too much on the past, there is a reason why I do that.

We reminisce about the past and dream about the future because the present usually isn't very interesting.

The present is what you make it. We sing the song "father God, just for today". We should always be striving as Christians to see what we can do at the present moment to serve God and others. Tommorrow may never come and yesterday is already gone. -Wayne

  • just2seeusmile
hey Kelly, that is so true... life in the present sometime seemed boring and same ol that is why I use to like to dwell on the past, I just wasnt really good for day dreaming.. I wanted to be surprised with my future and felt if i put up too many "hopes" then when something special came along it wouldnt be that big cause i dreamed bigger.. i know im a nut.. but i soo agree with all you posted. Thumbs up! ;)
