"Behold, How Good and How Pleasant it is for Brethren to Dwell Together in Unity!" Psalm 133:1

Surely, the purest Love that will ever be known to men---is the Love which Christ had for us. The Love that caused Him to go to the cross to die for a selfish, perverted humanity. It is written down in the books as the greatest Love, and there it will remain. The LORD gave us Salvation that day, but along with it, He offered another sweet gift, the Love that binds Christian brethren.

Surely it is a little taste of Heaven, for I've found that nothing can replace it. In the same way we are not whole without Christ, neither can we be whole without Love for one another.

In it's purest, simplest from, it means so much.
It knows no selfishness, but it always looks out for the other.
It is not jealous, but it selflessly gives, and gives.
It is not prideful, but it humbles itself below everything.
It is patient, it is kind,.
It always hopes, it always trusts, believes, and it always forgives....
It never fails.
(1 Corinthians 13)

Let us press on to Love our brethren, the same way Christ hath Loved us, and gave Himself up for us.
To Him alone be all the glory, and power, and dominion. May He be extolled above the nations, forever and ever.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" -Psalm 133:1

"This is My commandment, the ye Love one another, even as I have Loved you. Greater
Love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." -John 15:12-13

"Now I beseech you brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing
and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfected together in the same mind, and
in the same judgment." -1 Corinthians 1:10

"For I long, that I with you may be comforted in you, each of us by the others faith, both yours and mine." -Romans 1:11-12

In the purest Love that binds us all together,
your servant and fellow laborer,
Kaylah R.

Malachi 1:2

"I have loved you, saith Jehovah. Yet ye say, "Wherein hast Thou loved us?" Malachi 1:2

Last night, in our Bible study at Church, we studied in the book of Malachi.
This verse really struck me. God has loved us so richly, but we take His blessings
for granted so easily! "I have loved you," He calls, and we rebelliously ask,
"How have You loved us?"

How can we even ask such a question!? The very next breath we take PROVES
His love for us! He sent His only Son to die for us. What greater love has ever been known?

What greater love will ever be known?

There is no greater pain in the world, than to have your best friend, your mom,
your sister, your brother, your "significant other" to have to ask, "Do you love me?"

You spend your whole life showing love to someone, you invest time, and energy,
and effort into being all that you can for them. Then, they question your loyalty.
There is nothing more painful than this.

I'm reminded of how Peter must have felt when the LORD asked him
3 times "Lovest thou me?"

Now, imagine how God feels. He spends His love on loving people who, truly are unlovable.
He's rescued them from some incredibly terrible things. He forgives them time and time again.
He has a plan in order to send them the Saviour they need. And this is what they say to Him,
"How have You loved us?"

I can almost feel the pain God must've been feeling here.
Yet, so many times, we unknowingly make the same kind of
statements to God.

Maybe we don't ask, "How have You loved us?" but,
we second guess Him every time we doubt His wisdom,
every time we think we know better than He does.

Let's take a good look at the messages we may be sending
to the Master and then change anything we need to,
to start giving Him the respect He so richly deserves!

Keep following the LORD, brethren.

"For though the fig-tree shall not flourish,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labor of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no food;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in Jehovah,
I will joy in the God of my Salvation.
Jehovah, the LORD, is my strength;
and He maketh my feet like hinds' feet,
And will make me to walk upon my high places."
Habakkuk 3:17-19

Amen. We all have doubt, but why? It is not fault in God's judgements, but in our faith and trust. Our love is imperfect, and we EXPECT God to love us, but when we don't "get our way" we ask Him, "why did you do this to me." We forget we are the reason He was crucified. We might as well had done it ourselves. Great thoughts, Kaylah. Laboring with you!

Though vine nor fig tree neither their wonted fruit should bear,
    Though all the field should wither, nor flocks nor herds be there;
Yet God the same abiding, His praise shall tune my voice,
For while in Him confiding, I cannot but rejoice.

Thank you for those thoughts. As we go through life and things may not go as we might have wanted, we must realize that God loves us enough to deny us the things that are hurtful for us, and even enough to grant us the things that help us draw nearer to Him. We love because He first loved us!

The Christian and Complacency...Are They Compatible?

Well, I'd say that it's definitely time for a new post. After a lot of you read what I'm about to get
into, you're probably going to wish I hadn't posted at all. However, I feel very strongly about this
subject and lately God has put a lot of it in my heart. First off, I am not attacking anyone in particular
when I write what I write. So please, don't take it personally. I am talking and appealing to the entire
Christian group as a whole. And, more than anything, I'm appealing to myself.

I've been thinking a good bit lately about the Apostle Paul.
There are so many words that I've heard people use to describe him:

1. Courageous/Bold
2. Zealous
3. An able teacher
4. Strong
5. Confident
6. Genuine
7. Loving
8. Faithful
9. A Hero

And there are so many other wonderful things we could indeed say of him. But I would like to think for a moment
with you, brethren, about what we could NOT EVER accuse Paul of being. And in my mind, the one word
that comes up with flashing neon lights, is Complacent.
We would do his name a great dis-service by ever thinking he was complacent. Certainly, he was not.
In fact, he was the extreme opposite. Brethren, when we look at all the great men and women of faith,
complacency does not have room to fit in the picture! A "Complacent Christian" is an oxymoron!
You can not have them both!

Webster's definition of complacency is, "self-satisfaction especially when accompanied by unawareness of actual dangers or deficiencies"

As Christians, we are in a warfare. Complacency is one of the devil's most prized weapons.
I know I have been struggling lately with apathy and indifference (which go right along with complacency),
and I believe that is why God has turned my heart to see that error!

Brethren, WE, yes, me and you, WE are the world's next generation of Christianity.
I am talking the bold Christianity, the manly stuff. None of this "I love you, you love me garbage" that the denominational world would have us buy into! Love is very important, perhaps the very central theme of Christianity, but we can not allow ourselves to fall into this ideology of embracing everyone (when in error). As Christians brethren, we need to be in the battles the LORD would have us to fight! We need to be on the front lines fighting for the purity of Jehovah's CHURCH! We can not turn the cheek when we see HIS kingdom under attack! I am sick of hearing apathetic Christians complaining of the "mistakes" we make when using Church discipline, and many other areas! Some of their mentalities are disheartening. I'll list a few examples:

1. "Oh, you can bring in a piano, I don't care. It's just one, anyway."
2. "Why do you have to take time to look at this families background? God loves everyone, anyone can place membership here."
3. "HOLY KISS? WHAT?! You have to be crazy"
4. "Wednesday service is not important, God didn't command it."

There are several other things I could list, but I do not want to get too specific. I am not trying to step on anyone's
toes, but I am not ashamed if I do. Sometimes, we need our toes stepped on. I've heard a quote that I like a lot,
"A preacher's job is to comfort the afflicted, and to afflict the comforted" AMEN!

I am no preacher, but I do have things to say.
So, I will continue with my post. If you want to continue reading, thank you.
If not, it's your choice.

Brethren, WE are the next generation! I can not stress this enough. I look around sometimes at some of my
peers and I am very frightened for the future. I look at myself, and I am frightened.

"God, do You really want me to be a leader in the world's next generation? I think You've got the wrong person!"

He does not have the wrong people, friends. He knows what He's doing. We can all be the right people
if we will just work for it and pray for it. We need passion and fire burning down deep within us all!
Many of us are at an incredibly crucial stage in our lives. The next couple of years and the choices
we make within them, will determine what our futures become. If we are not already married,
we need to be careful! The man or woman we choose to journey through life with will determine
in a large scale how easy or how impossible it will be to get into the Kingdom.

If we do not learn how to be a Christian ourselves, how can we ever hope to raise them?!
We are on the front lines brethren, and the Lord says, "GO!"
Are we going to shrink back and say, "Please send someone else, LORD", or are we
going to run ahead at full speed waiting for His next command?

I do not know about you brethren, I can not speak for anyone but myself, but I know
that I have not been lately the young lady Jehovah wants me to be. The woman He created.
I have been renewed from the inside out by His loving grace and power, with the help of my
best friend, Kaitlin, and I am ready to run ahead at full speed. I am keeping the course.
I am running the race. Brethren, who's with me? I do not want to go alone.

Do not comment on my blog, "I'm in!" I don't want to hear you say it, I want to see you live it!

We are on the front lines and the battle has just begun. But the battle belongs to the LORD!
How great is His love! Let's stand up and fight for His kingdom until He calls us home.

I will leave you all with a quote I like,
"I'm sorry if I stepped on your toes, I was aiming for your heart"

Praise the LORD today and trust Him for tomorrow!
Make the best decisions you can brethren, and keep your faith!

With Love in HIM,
Kaylah R.

(Choose you this day who you will serve!)

I Am A Disciple of the MESSIAH!

I am a disciple of the Messiah. I will not let up, look back or slow down. My past is redeemed, my future is secure. I am done with low living, small planning, smooth knees, mundane talking, chincy giving, and dwarfed goals. I no longer need pre-eminence, prosperity, position or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised or rewarded. My face is set; my goal is sure. My road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few. My God is reliable, my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, delayed or deluded. I will not flinch in the face of adversity, not negotiate at the table of the enemy or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I am a disciple of the Messiah. I must go until He comes, speak of all I know of Him and work until He stops me. And when He comes for His own, by the grace of God, He will have no problem recognizing me, because my colors are clear.

I love this attitude of what a Christian should be like! I think we could all learn a thing or two from this, I know I sure can! Hope you guys all like it =)

Don't give up you guys!

"For the day of our salvation is nearer to us now,
than when we first believed!"
-Romans 13:11

What Happened To Your Hands?

"What happened to Your hands?" the little girls asked of the man who was standing there.
"How did you get those scars? Did it hurt? I'm sorry, I don't mean to stare."
The kind man smiled, then He sat down and placed her on His knee.
"You ask Me about the scars on My hands....Love gave them to Me."
"You see, I once lived in a perfect home, a palace so very fine.
A beautiful place where no tears or pain or sadness would ever be Mine.
But people are just like little lost sheep who don't know the way to go,
They needed someone to give of Himself, it's the only way they could know.
So I left My home and came to earth to save man from his sin,
I loved them so much and I was the only one who could help them the victory to win.
I told them about forgiveness, and showed love for all mankind,
I healed the sick, made the lame to walk, and gave sight back to the blind.
I fed the hungry, ten lepers cleansed, I calmed the angry wave,
I brought a man named Lazarus back up out of his grave.
I lived a life that was sinless, I showed them it could be done,
If they would only trust and believe in Me, God's only Son."

"I bet they were glad to see You, she said, "I bet they were glad You came!"
"Some of them were, He smiled then said, "But most of them cursed My name."
"They tried to change My words of Love to trap Me in a lie.
Because of hatred, envy, and hearts of stone, they wanted Me to die.
They held a trail and accused Me, not a word in defense I said,
Even those who called Me friend ran away filled with dread.
They beat Me till blood ran down My back, placed a crown of thorns on My head."

"Oh, how badly that must have hurt," the little girl quietly said.

"I stumbled as I carried My cross up the hill, My date with death to meet.
I hung there in pain for hours with nails in My hands and My feet.
All the sin of the world was upon Me as I hung there on that day,
It was such an appaling sight, My own Father had to turn away."

"Why did You let them do it?" she asked as a tear fell from her eye.

"Because I loved the lost so much, that for them I was willing to die."
I said, "Lord please forgive them, for they know not what they do."

The little girl asked Him, quite amazed, "You mean You died for the evil ones too?
You were so kind and they were so cruel, I really don't understand why."
She shook her head, tried to blink back the tears, and then she started to cry.
"When they put those nails in Your hands, she asked, "was that the most painful part?"

"No, He said, "What hurt the most was the pain of My broken heart."

When the Man had finished speaking, she looked again at His hands,
As she saw Him now, through eyes full of Love, she began to understand.
No greater Love would e'er be shown to a world filled with sinful man,
Than the Love that the little girl saw that day, in the scars of Jesus' hands.

Praise The LORD, sing to Him with a glad song.
Let us never forget the great Love the Christ had for us.
