Google... What a wonderful invention
Well, I googled my maiden name while I was on the comp at work today and the third link down was MY pleonast account, which I had completely forgotten was in existence.
Sooo, I guess it is time for me to catch this thing up...
I have now been VERY happily married for going on 6 months... (We ended up eloping on Halloween.. :) ) We haven't even had "our first fight" yet, and I still feel like I am walking on clouds with him :)
We have a dog (Shih Tzu) named Boston (like the Red Sox, my hubby is a huuuuuuuge fan) and a kitten named Tiki. We love our little family very much. Annnddd I have a new job as a Nanny which I love and adore!!
Since the last time I was on two very major and exciting things have happened... Hannah has gotten married :) and one of my best friends, Tiffany, has gotten baptized.... OOhhh how time flies...
And amidst all this wonderful news, we have had some difficult times too... I have been battling health issues what seems like my whole life and just recently I was diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelopathy (ME) also known as Chronic Epstein-Barr Virus (CBEV) or CFIDS. It is an emerging illness characterized by debilitating fatigue (experienced as exhaustion and extremely poor stamina), neurological problems, and a variety of flu-like symptoms. Severity in patients can vary from mild to being totally bedridden and completely disabled. It is a very tough thing, but we are very hopeful, that now we know exactly what is causing all these problems, we can start working on treatments. But I am so much luckier than so many people who have to deal with disease and constant illness because I have the most wonderful husband in the entire world and a congregation that loves me and supports me and would do virtually anything for me, and for that, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world :)
Well, I guess that is all I have to say right now, but I DO hope I can get back in touch with some of the wonderful people on this site... (Todd Buck, that means YOUUUU... Don't be a STRANGER... We miss you SO much at Melrose!!! Please come visit :) ))
Anyways everyone have a wonderful day and remember... Walk strong!!! We can do ALL things through CHRIST who STRENGTHENS us!!!
Katie Shutt--- wow, my NAME has even changed since I was last on here.. hehe
