Married life...

...is great. I get to cook dinner most nights, which is fun because i love to cook. Laundry is alot more fun now because i don't have to live out of a laundry basket and i get to wash Deuce's clothes too, which makes me happy. It makes me giggle when he introduces me or is talking about me to someone that doesn't know who i am cuz he says "my wife" and it still sounds so weird. And when i have to tell someone my name, i say it a little louder than i used to... because now it's Deuster! I like not having to go home at 1 in the morning after we all hang out all night long... because i'm already home! I love coming home from work knowing that i am coming home to a wonderful husband every day. And i love my house and can't wait to finish painting and decorating it. But probably my favorite thing ever about being married is that the man i am married to is The Deuce, the man i have been secretly in love with since the day i met him way back in those high school art class days.

Today is a good day. I don't work today. I get to spend the entire day with my husband. For this reason i love Fridays.

Silent Hill!

If you ever played the video game or love scary movies. It was good. If not, don't see it. But it was good. Definantly worth the astronomical ticket prices of today. Next Saturday I get to wear my Strawberry Shortcake costume and read to the children! Project 86 Tuesday. My Deuce is preaching today in Van Buren and next Sunday in Talequah. He's awesome. Ok. Bye.

    i'd love to come visit. right now, it's my car that's holding me back. i've got coolant leaking into my oil pan via a crack in the intake, and a leaky oil pan gasket. so basically my car gets too hot, too fast. can't really drive long distances.

So Proud...

My absolutly wonderful boyfriend preached for the first time tonight. I am so proud of him. I have seen him come a long way in 7 years, and tonight was my most proud moment. It took all that I had to keep from crying while I watched him up in the pulpit. He did a wonderful job tonight with his lesson. He brought the truth, and was not afraid to say what needed to be said. He looked so natural and so at home up there, like he had done it a million times. He had a confidence about him that really made the lesson stand strong. He preached about integrity, about being the Christian we should be, about Psalm 26. I am so thankful that I was able to be there for his first sermon, to hear such a great lesson, and I am so blessed to have him in my life. I know that if it weren't for him that I would still be lost. So tonight's blog is dedicated to him, the man I love with all my heart, the man I owe so much thanks to, the man I am so proud of. To the most amazing man I have ever met, I love you.
