So...once again long time no update. So...I decided that it was time. This weekend I surprised Sarah with tickets to the Mannheim Steamroller christmas concert.
We had a really good time but that wasn't the biggest news of the night. I also surprised her, well sort of surprised anyway, with a ring!
and luckily she said yes! We're planning on a wedding date this summer and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with the girl I love.

Since this hasn't exactly been a "daily" blog I'd probably better make this entry fairly general. I started a job back in November in the lovely central Texas town of Waco
with a company called L-3 Communications Integrated Sytstems. L3 is an aircraft modification shop that mostly works on military aircraft installing tons of electronic equipment and such.
I work in one of the engineering groups in an office building attached to a large hanger. I have a pretty short commute of about 10 min. from my apartment to the airport and there usually isn't any traffic. Its a pretty neat job to start out in I suppose.
In other news I'm still dating the wonderful and lovely Sarah and we just got back from an exciting spring break adventure, I know I don't really have "Spring Break" but I took a week off. We drove out to Albuquerque to meet One of Sarah's friends from Bellaire who is going to school in Wyoming and came down with some of her friends. We got some snow that first night.

From there we drove to the Grand Canyon for some camping.
We then saw some of the Canyon.
The rest will have to wait for another time becuase it is time to go to work. Hope this has been enlightening and somewhat webworthy.........

Well....it usually goes that I put off posting on pleonast so much that a long time goes by between posts. Well here is a short update about me...for anyone bored enough to read it! hehe...j/k anywas probally not. Well...I've been busy and not so busy. I have done a bit of traveling since I wrote last. I don't remember if I wrote after I went up to D.C. the first time but..I helped get Sarah up to D.C. with her car and get her moved into the apartment she shares with some other interns. It was a pretty fun trip. I tried to get her somewhat acquainted with the area however even after 18 years of living there I myself wasn't that acquainted but most of it came back to me. I took Sarah to the historic Gadsby's Tavern in Old Town Alexandria...

Its a pretty neat place where the servers dress up in 18th century dress and they try to serve the kind of things they would have served a long time a go. Several famous people have dined and stayed at Gadsbys including George Washington.
We also went down to Kings Dominion, a theme park that I used to have seasons passes to...the sister park to Kings Island for all the Midwesterners, It was a blast even if they had some ride problems and don't have the beast.
On the Texas side I have been applying for jobs and going on interviews for a while now hoping that somthing will come up. I think somthing has come up but I won't jinx it just yet. I did get to go back to D.C. and spent a few days with Sarah and my Sister and brother-in-law. While there I took Sarah up to Great Falls park along the Potomac river. It is amazing to me because where Sarah lives in Arlington the Potomac is a WIDE lazy slow moving river but just a few miles north west of D.C. it is like this...

Its a pretty neat park with trails that go along the short clifs. To get there we had to drive past the CIA headquarters in Langly which is marked by an ominous sign on the G.W. pkway.
That was that trip. This last weekend I went with my family up to Nacogdoches for the SFA homecomming game and to move my sisters stuff from storage up there to storage in College Station where I have a larger storage unit ( which hopefully won't have my stuff in it for much longer!) It was an alright trip I guess. We had to take my family's old van b/c it had a trailer hitch and the new one didn't so...it was an adventure and we were all glad when the van rolled back up into the driveway in San Antonio.
In other news the Spurs won their first game in defense of the 2004 title! I was saddened that I missed those finals but if I had to miss them I guess being in Italy was a very good reason!

Anyways that's about all for now so...I tried to keep with the subject.

Well...I decided to finally update my blog...I've been in summer school for the month of July and am about to graduate from Texas A&M. Its kind of exciting I guess...it has taken long enough. Italy was pretty stinkin' awsome. I had a bunch of fun and got to see a fairly large chunk of Italy. After graduation its on to a job. I guess it is time to start a career or somthing. I've about run out of money and I don't really want to live at home for that long so a job seems like the logical choice.
On a shorter scale I plan to head down to the Kleinwood singing tonight so that should be pretty cool I guess. My great aunt passed away this week so the whole family is going down to Beeville for the funeral. I guess that means I will have to get up at O'dark thirty to get down there from Houston so wish me luck on the roads. Sarah will be leaving in a couple of weeks to go to an Internship in Washington DC. She'll get to see where I grew up, which is pretty cool, but I'm going to miss her somthing terrible. Hopefully that job will come along so I can afford plane tickets! My sister Leslie recently moved back up there when my brother-in-law was stationed at FT. Belviour so hopefully she can keep an eye on her! Anyways, I'm going to help her drive her car up and maybe show her some of the sites so I'm looking forward to seeing the area and people again!
Well, this is the end of my post, my only friend the end.
I'm excited to see y'all too! yay!!
