Christmas Break!!!
Well, I'm finally back in school-how exciting...not.
I spent Christmas day just hanging out with some cool friends, my friend YuYang from China and my friend Keith from Montana were both in town, so I had a group of friends over. We played Apples to Apples, one of my Christmas presents!
I left the next day for Orlando on my Band Trip. I thought it would be a ton of fun... boy was I wrong.
We watched a ton of movies on the way down, which was cool. The bus ride went relatively fast, except for the sleeping part...
We practiced right when we got there, and then we ate dinner at Medieval Times, which rocked. You sit in an amphitheater style arena at booths. They serve you garlic bread and vegetable soup, which you have to drink out of the bowl. You also get a huge chicken breast and ribs and a potato thing. The dessert was a delicious pastry.
Magic Kingdom was no fun at all, if you go there simply go on Space Mountain, which I didn't, and see Mickey's Philharmagic show. Its in 3D and WAY cool.
EPCOT was fairly lame as well. The two supposedly cool rides were boring.
Universal Studios was awesome...We rode the Hulk rollercoaster first, and it was sooooo cool. It was long and very exciting. It broke down right before we got on, and we waited 30 minutes more, but it was well worth it. They also had a dueling dragons rollercoaster, which made it seem like you were going to run into the other one. We rode one and then got in line for the other, it was only about a 20 minute wait. Of course it broke down too, so we had to wait. By the time they fixed it, the other one was off, so they weren't going together. The park overall was really cool.
MGM studios was fun as well. The best part was either the Tower of Terror or Rockin' Rollercoaster. We also saw Imagination(i think) a fireworks and laser show. We sat by a dad and his 5 year old daughter from Colombia. They were really nice, and he gave us their email address when we left.
Overall, the trip wasn't very fun. About half the band was sick because one girl came with the stomach flu. We were all sick of each other by the end. The parks were very crowded and lines were long, even with FastPass. Food was way overpriced. I'm glad I went- simply so I know not to go back.
But here I am at school, wishing i wasn't..
2007, the year I finally graduate!!!
