I'M BACK... (for the time being anyway)

Hi Everyone.
Sorry I haven't posted for a very long time. I have been extremely busy and have barely had time to take a break. From the last time I posted I have had a lot changes taking place in my life.

If you do not already know, I got a wonderful job with American Electric Power (AEP) and have moved to Canton, OH. I am very blessed to have the job that I have... I am only one of 40 people that do what I do, throughout the whole United States. I have bought a new F150 truck and am looking to sell my old truck. Things are going very well for me. I have placed my membership with the Brown Street congregation in Akron,OH where I have been preaching and writing articles for their bullitin. We are just finishing up a gospel meeting with J.R. Bronger and coming up in June we will be having VBS with Tim McPherson. Looking forward to that, but I won't be able to make it every evening because w e are getting married the same week.

The only bad thing about being up here is that Eliza is still down in WV, but one of her bridal showers is tomorrow and the wedding is soon approaching.

I am glad the weather is starting to get warmer, I am looking forward to playing all of the golf courses up here. I already have some engagements set up for when the weather finally breaks.

I really enjoy my work schedule... I work four, ten hour days Monday through Thursday and have every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Which makes it easy to visit Annie every other weekend. I am still preaching for the time being at Hines Chapel Church of Christ every 3rd Sunday of the month.

Lord willing I will be at TBS next Saturday, hopefully I will see some of you there.

I will try to stay abreast of everything on here, thanks for being patient as my life has been changing very rapidly, but very much in the positive direction.

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing wonderful, because I couldn't be better :) Last Saturday (9-17-05) I worked on Eliza's birthday present. I mowed a path up to a spot on the opposite hill from where I live, on my grandpa's property. Unfortunately I got really bad poison ivy on my arms from mowing. Fortunately however it didn't completely start until after I asked Eliza Anne to marry me on Sunday afternoon during our picnic :) She said YES!!! I am so blessed to have a woman such as Eliza, she has helped me tremendously in the past year we have been dating. She has helped me to make it through tough family times, help prepare sermons, help write bulletins, and help me bear the persecutions of the congregation of where I used to attend services regularly. My world has been turned upside down in the past few months and Eliza Anne has been right beside me to encourage and strengthen me. I want and need her encouragement, strength and help for the rest of my life. I am so blessed to have her in my life. So I have really wonderful news to report back with, finally!!!

How is everyone else? I know it has been a while since I have written anything, well, ok maybe a long time! Please update me on what you have been doing and any new news I may not have heard. Please pray for Eliza and myself through our engagement period that we might stand strong, overcoming temptation, and to learn and grow to become as much as "one" as we can until we are married. Well I need to go right now, hopefully I can update you all soon!

Congrats Josh, you really are blessed with her and you know it too which is sweet. My fiance and I are approaching 2 years together and it's only been better for us as I know it will be for you two. I hope to be able to come to the next TBS where I can congratulate you two in person. =)

Thank you for being patient with me, I haven't had time to post in a long time. I have been really busy between school, preaching and taking care of my sweetie. I have preached 4 times since I have posted last and that has taken up a lot of my time, but I enjoy every second of preparation. This weekend I was working at my Church building, moving the seats for better projector screen visibility. The building looks diferent, but we will adjust. I am diligently working on electrical engineering classes at college, I only have 2 more quarters and I will graduate. I am ready to start life, I found the woman I want to marry (and she wants to marry me :) , I am serving God and preparing for my career. I am so blessed, I have so much to be thankful for. This year, Lord willing I will be turing 20, my teenage years will be gone forever... they went too quickly!

How are all of you? Hope you have seen more good in life than wicked, keep on going, even though its not easy, if we turn to God and trust him we will have his everlasting help and comfort. Talk to you all later!
