From this point forward I will be using facebook. I tried to fight it for as long as I could, but it is too cool. You can throw sheep at people - come on!!!
And because it is so much more fun, I will probably check it more than once every 3 weeks.
It is time to come to the darkside of FACEBOOK.
Good bye

I saw this movie Monday, and it made me laugh and it sent me out of the theatre wanting to be more bold in what God has asked me to do. The movie was probably a bit safer than Bruce Almighty with no comments like "Smite me oh mighty smiter." Yes the movie does make some plays on ideas. The realtor's name is Eve Adams. Evan's (or the Noah of the story) wife's name is Joan (Joan of Ark). It has Morgan Freeman (who plays God) as a waitor at one point and his name tag says Al Mighty. And the telephone number to the lumber comapany is 800-go4wood.
All in all, it was a great fun movie with great values.
I have just received my new calling - MOVIE CRITIC!!! YES
Things are great here. Waiting for more bladder busting movies (See last post for explanation) and still waiting for Seth to send me my movie and book!
We have a new cat. He is cute. Shhhh - as of right now, I still like JOBO more - shhhhh.
Peace out,
JC

Does anyone have typed notes of Robert's freshmen Bible classes? I have lost 2 of my four notebooks from McClister's classes.
Well, things are heating up. Yesterday it reached 108. Yeah I know, you think it is a dry heat.
I am contemplating taking some kind of writing course this fall at the local college. I suck at writing. Sophomore year, I had someone from writing lab read a paper of mine. They practically had to rewrite it. I think that is the one aspect of my work that I absolutely hate - writing. Not because I hate writing, but because I am no good at it.
In the spirit of Matt Harber, here is my reading list:
Currently: God's Secretaries (a book on the making of the KJV), Studies in the Psalms, and Invitation to a Spiritual Revolution (Studies in the Sermon on the Mount by Paul Earnhart)
Coming soon: Harry Potter 7 (a bitter sweet book), God's Empowering Presence (studies on the Holy Spirit by Gordon Fee, this is a massive book, everyone be proud.)
Movies already seen: Shrek 3 (2 1/2 Stars), Pirates 3 (4 1/2 stars), Ocean's 13 (5 stars, I love those movies), Spiderman 3 (3 stars, kind of disappointed), Disturbia (4 stars, a while back but really good)
Movies that I am about to pee on myself to see: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Transformers, Rush Hour 3, American Gangster (if it does not contain unwholesome things), I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry (if it does not contain unwholesome things, which it probably will), Live Free of Die Hard.
Movies that I will see but can hold the bladder problems: Ratatouille, Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer, I am Legend, The Bourne Ultimatum.
What does everyone think of the Movie "Bruce Almighty" and the coming movie "Evan Almighty"? Do you think the ending message excuses some of the liberalities (is that a word) in the movie?
Peace out,
JC

Is it sad that I do not like posting because Matt Harber is going to scrutinize my post with a fine tooth comb?
Anyway,
I am a bit low right now. I am enjoying the work here in Yuma, but there is no one our age. It is discouraging sometimes. There are a good number of high school students but that is not exactly the kind of hanging out we want to do all the time.
I miss FL and having friends over every Fri and Sat night and grilling "big-as-ya-head" burgers.
But I know that I am doing a good work and ultimately I am very happy.
I have been doing some research for an online (or mostly online) Master's degree. I know that it is not the best way to go, but I am in the middle of the stinkin desert, what choices do I have?
Speaking of desert, it was 106 today...I will keep you posted on the temp out here. I saw a funny shirt the other day. It said,
"Arizona...But it is a dry heat" and underneath this statement was a skeleton. I thought it was funny.
This is my longest post in forever, so I guess I better paste it into word and double check my grammar. HAHA
Oh Seth, I know you are married, but I still need my book and movie.

Well it was really good to see so many people in FL last week. You forget how much you miss everyone until you see them again.
Me, along with a number of others have graduated from Florida College. It is as Reagan said, or at least according to Josh, "Parting is such sweet sorrow." Did he leave out the fact that Shakespeare said it first on purpose?
Anyway, I am still in Yuma and it is getting hot again.
I am taking Job online this summer, is anyone else?
