I am asking you all to please pray for Barbara Mayes and her familyy... I recentlyy heard that she was sick..so I contacted her daughter Karen and she informed me of what was going on..this is what she told me

She is @ CMC they found a tumar on her brain they did a biouspy on it wed and it is the worse type there isnt a cure for it and that day it started bleeding on the brain and they put a tube in to drain it off she was in a coma but she is waking up now and she is getting better and better we are just taking it day by day they took her off of the vent yesterday and she is breathing good on her own. when they put the tube in she just couldnt catch her breath so they put her on it to help her! She was fine til fri when she woke daddy up having sescers and when she got to the er in shelby that was when they found the tumar and she has been @ CMC since! She knows what is going on and everything so! She is in ICU right now but when she gets off all the machines then she will go back to a room! I will tell her that you asked about her and give her a hug for ya! She has been opeaning her eyes and smiling and whispering some answers that we ask her! Just pray for her I have and she is doing good! I am going to get off of her so I can get ready to go to the hospital! I will ttyl!
UPDATE:
The doctor came around and he wants to take the other tube out and let nature take its course witch he said it would take a day or so but she is ok with dying and we talked to her today about it and she said that she was tired and ready to go and she knows that we know that everything is going to be ok. If they put a shunt in to drain it off all it will do is prolong the suffering for her and and she will end up in a nursing home but that is something that she really didnt want that! i will let you know when they take the tube out she will be in a room so that we can be with her and have no restrictions on visiting he.

I will let you know what else i find out but just please keep them in your thoughts and prayers

Jack just called. We have been talking with them, but this happened so fast. Jack said they were going to stop treatment, and she will only be alive a few more days.
