Both our kids crashed at church last night. Something they haven't done since they were babies. I was in panic mode knowing it would be 1 am before they could sleep that night. It wasn't that bad after all. Maybe 10:30 or 11. It's so hard when your kids aren't themselves. Sleep is so powerful!

Oh Natalie is such a bear to deal with when she hasn't gotten enough sleep.

thanks for the Dr. recommendation! Did you use a midwife or doula along with the dr or just him? If you didn't use anyone else, did you just study up on natural methods (to progress labor, etc) yourself beforehand? (I have heard drs are really only there for the birth, not the labor, but it's great to have a name of someone who will support our wishes!) Thanks so much!

^not sure how long ago you made the comment, so thought I would remind you I was the one asking about drs, etc in St Louis :)

Thanks so much!! Its wonderful to know about that hospital; I'll definitely plan on using it! So, did the Bradley class teach you natural methods of progressing labor, etc? That would be the main reason I would need a doula or someone--to suggest methods to progress labor, deal with pain...I would expect a class to teach about the pain part but don't know what else is involved. I need to figure out what class I want to take; I haven't researched the differences yet (Bradley, hypnobirth, can't remember the other names). I just wonderif there are things that come up during labor that the class doesn't discuss that having a doula or someone would be helpful. If you don't mind me asking, Did you have any problems with your labors or births?

...this is my first, so I have no clue what to expect, although I realize every pregnancy is different, so I will never really know what to expect! :)

I think because he's close I'm not really concerned about if I go into labor. My problem has been the split pubic bone. With the weight of the 38 week baby on it it's really hard to walk. So the girls and I are doing A LOT of reading and other activites where they can bring things to mommy while I sit. He is done tonight. I am SOO happy for that. But this was a great opportunity and I'm glad he was able to do it. All in all, this week has been great. Just obsessed with baby coming! So what were we all thinking anyway?!?!?! I guess you gotta be crazy sometimes huh!

Yes! The other families at church are convinced that Liam is a bully because he's always trying to push the other boys and get them to play with him. They even got him a punching bag for his birthday and said something about now maybe he won't try to hit the other kids. I feel bad for him because he just wants to play. Dare I say it? The other little boys are pansies! :)

Yes, girl, we do need to get together! I was thinking about that earlier today, actually! I guess our husbands need to talk since they're always the ones to set our dinners up!
When is your due date? I'm thinking end of April?

I actually sent Luke running for the camera. I always want the picture to prove to Ryan. He thought it was pretty hilarious. And I think I did ruin the clothes. There weren't many tips for how to get it out. Regular stain removers didn't work but I didn't want to use hot water. Our clothes would shrink because we wash in cold. I guess its worth a try though if they are already ruined.

Ugh - I understand. It seems my to-do list only grows and doesn't shorten all that often...so frustrating. But I have to remind myself that there are more important things in life - so your blog was a breath of fresh air - glad to know there are others in the same boat! :)

thanks for that! I have to admit I get frustrated with the cleaning. I do not love to clean and so when it gets that way I want it to stay. But you are right. What we have is better. Even the discipling - which is all I have done today

Thanks for letting me know. We have narrowed the choice to the Kia or the Chrysler. We noticed the Kia seemed a little harder to get around in but its a better deal than the Chrysler we looked at (of course that could be because it was from Carmax). And also the Kia ranks right under the Toyota and Honda in almost everything. We've found some great '06s with 7k or 16k miles! Almost new and for a good price. But Ryan does like some of the extras on the Chrysler - auto doors and hatch. So we'll see but I'll tell Ryan. He'll be glad to know this because we don't know many people with Kias.
