Another year at camp is over

I am still tired. I still need to do my camp laundry. I still need to clean my house from the pre-camp packing and madness. But all in due time.

This was a great year at camp. I think the material (how can you go wrong with 1,2 Timothy and Titus?) was great and provided some good discussion and great things to consider, not just for the kids but myself as well. My Senior guys were just awesome. I remember when they were freshman and it was my first time as a counselor, I was worried. Freshman boys tend to be immature (they all are... that's the way they are supposed to be) and I wondered if I could hold out long enough to see them mature as men and especially Christians. Well, they did and really impressed me.

They had late night discussions, opened up to each other, and bore one another's burdens. It really was a great week and VERY uplifting. Everything else went well, also, but it all pales in comparison to ones spiritual growth.
