SO, I'm sitting in my new office at my new job enjoying my lunch break. Blue Cotton was definitely a good decision. Though, it got a little hot today when I was checking in garments in the back... I still enjoy it:) I DO miss my kids at the Bux, tho...
GUESS WHAT?! In order for me to graduate next semester, I HAVE to take womens' chorus AND guitar lessons. How crazy is THAT?! I'm pretty excited about it, actually. Not having to take the crazy hard music history class is SUCH a blessing! I was more than willing to make the trade-off.
Goin home for T'giving in a couple of weeks.. and I could NOT be more excited!! It'll be lots o fun! Sounds like I'll get to see a majority of my relatives, which I count to be such a blessing.
Hopefully, if I can find a FLIGHT!, I'll be goin to Folsom, CA, for New Year's.. y'all let me know if you hear of anything (Bham-- Sacramento OR Nville-- Sacramento would be GREAT!). It'll be my second time to ring in the new year on the West Coast. (the first time was when
we flew to Oregon to be with
her and the whole Gibcrew.. so fun!)
Anyhoo... life is good. Our God is good. Goin to see movies with
them is good. Livin life to the fullest is good.
Love you guys!
What are Y'ALL doin for T'givin and Christmas/NewYear's??
**OH YEAH.. and for those of you who know my Mom, check
THIS out!!**

My last day at the Bux is tomorrow morning... from 5:30 - 11:00 am. If you're up at those insane hours on a Saturday, feel free to swing by and see in my cute little green apron for the last time!
Also, a year ago today I went under the knife for the first (and hopefully LAST) time in my life. Guess the surgery on the ruptured disc worked, cuz i'm still kickin it! Thanks to mom and dad!!
Thought this was pretty interesting, too...
HowManyOfMe.com
There are:0people with my name
in the U.S.A.How many have your name?
I have a nice mix... there were over 700,000 ppl in the U.S. with my first name... and NONE with my last (according to this thingy). Pretty interesting.
Welp, you guys have safe weekends. Here comes Thanksgiving, and I can hardly wait!
Love you guys.

A year ago this past weekend was the first time I officially hung out with
this guy. Pretty cool, huh. Time FLIES!
You know what's cooler than havin your
honey buy you Panera on Sunday afternoon? Havin your honey buy you Panera on Sunday afternoon and then havin your daddy buy you dinner/dessert on Sunday night! Basically.. I had a really good Sunday. I spent it with very special people.
Last night,
he and I got to go hang out with Bill and Mary Wilson.
He was there, too.. along with KP and Carly Baker. It was fun times! Not many trick-or-treaters came by, but that's ok. We had plenty of good chili and Skip-Bo to keep us busy! It was so good to hang out with them. I'll have to post pics of Bill in my cowgirl hat;)
We also later went and dropped by to see my favorite teacher, Dr. Dan Roenker. He and his wife LOVE trick-or-treaters. They had 291 last night.. and he said that was the first time in 5 years they hadn't broken 300! That's a LOT of candy! He had some leftovers so he gave Nic and me a whole bag of reese's cups. Can't say that we minded too much... ;)
All in all, life is good.
Startin my new job at Blue Cotton next week!! I must say, though.. I'm sad to leave my new friends at Sbux.. it's been TONS of fun workin with them. At least I can drop in now and then on my way to work! Here's to new beginnings!
(**Also,
he is lookin for a new place of employment. Cold Stone just ain't cuttin it right now. SOOooo, if anybody has any tips, let us know!)
Love you guys... life is good.
We are all so
blessed!
**OH YEAH.. and did I mention I finally GRADUATE in MAY!!! WOOHOO!!!**

Today is
her 24th bday.. go give her good wishes!
I'm sitting next to my
roommie here in the Tate Page computer lab workin on some homework. I'm actually done with it, so I'm just killin some time before class.
My schedule for next semester is pretty cool. Classes on MWF only, four in a row from 11-4:30. Not too shabby. Only problem is I'll have to be doing a LOT of hiking up and down the hill during those few hours. But it's cool... I can handle it.
You know, sometimes things happen in life that you're really not prepared for.. you just don't think you're able to handle it. Then it happens... and, somehow, God gives you the strength to get through it, to rise above the pain and focus on the gifts. If it weren't for that strength He gives us, how would we EVER get through this life with its struggles? I know I would not have made it this far.
What's best about that strength He so abundantly provides is the
means by which he provides that strength. Don't ever take your "strengths" for granted.
Love you guys.
WAR EAGLE!!!
