School's Over!!

so I am totally avoiding my paper right now. I simply don't want to do it. That and I haven't finished the book I have to read to write the paper. Oh well, pleonast is always a good diversion right?

So, with only three weeks of school left I have been reflecting about the time I have spent over the past year. I realized that I haven't made that many good friends. I have made a bunch of girlfriends but I told myself that I was going to be different than high school and make more guy friends, but it seems to me that i really only have one good guy friend, Arthur. Sure there are the other guys i know that I sometimes have a good time with but I haven't really gotten to know them. I can't tell them what's going on in my life. Even with the girls, I really only know a few of them really well enough to tell them whats up and who I hang with all the time.

SO, I have concluded that next year I shall be more not going and get to know people better and I will get to know more people. Like the little train said going up the hill, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..." I shall tell myself, I think I can know more poeple.

I know what you mean. I've been here for 2 years and feel that way. I have at least one more year to work on it though, so that's nice.

So, I have finally participated in a prank!! A couple of girls (not telling names in this) decided to take the batman symbol off of one of the guys' siute door and hid it. Well long story short, because i don't have that much time, the symbol got taken twice and one of the guys in the suite is really taking it too seriously! I hope he can get over a couple of girls taking a little silly symbol off a door and hiding it for a while. Well that's all i have time for, ttyl!

....so. Taking a "silly" symbol is best of your abilities?

Spring Banquet!!!!

So, Banquet was so awesome!!! First I have to apoligize about the last entry, I was really frustrated and someone said I had to update so I did at with a horrible attitude. Even that is no excuse for writing that, I'm sorry for all those who read my logs.
Okay, back to Banquet!! I honestly think that the time before and the ride after banquet was the best part. Before banquet my dad had arranged a former co-worker to do my hair and a couple of my friend's hair for banquet. It was so much fun watching my good friends getting thier hair done and talking during the whole time. Even the hair dresser, Lou Ann, had fun talking with us college girls. Oh and my mom was there too, making jokes with us.
The ride back it was me driving, Diana, Arthur, and Brigham. Oh my, we had so much fun, I think we were laughing the entire way back. I atually believe the trip back was better than the banquet itself, although it was a great banquet. Oh and a group of us went to Downtown Disney after banquet for a little while but I'll tell you about that later. I'm gettign tired Good nite everyone!!

That sounds like so much fun and I am so glad that you met Brigham...he is amazingly spiritual guy and an example to me and to many others that he and I know :) Take care and just wonderin'...how do you like FC?

Well, i apologize for not writing for a while, things have been CRAZY!! And i was commanded by austin yesterday to upodate my log, so here goes:
Spring break was last week and it was so much fun!! Road trips are really the best thing in the world. It was me and Allison driving and our friend Diana riding with us. By the way, we went to Allison's house in Tenneesse. Oh, and on the way back, we kidnapped Allie's sister Sarah, but really it's her spring break this week. BUT WAIT, I'm getting ahead of myself. I hate it when i do that! I love Allison's family, and are almost like my family, except with more kids. But i do think that her brothers should talk more, all i know about them is from what Allison has told me about them. That's crazy to me!!
So, road trips are the best thing a college student could do. I mean come on, this is going to be the only part of our lives when we aren't tied down by something. In high school we didn't take them w/o our parents, and later on we'll have committmnets to do. So now is the best time to take them!! Oh man, there are so many memories from that trip and from just being in the car. Like, when we were about 30 min from getting to Allie's house, somehow don't ask me how, a bug got in the car and flew on my head. Now this wasn't a little bug but a 3 inch palmetto bug (for the people not from Florida, that's a really big cockroach!!). I was clam cause I'm use to seeing them and i just flicked it off my head, but I never knew Allie was afraid of bugs! She was so jittery and freaking out!! It was pretty funny to watch that is if she wasn't driving. Then in order to calm her nerves and to resecure that it wouldn't crawl on her, we had to stop and put the top down so that it would fly out.
( I have a convertible) So, for the last 20 min of the trip we drove with the top down. Oh Man, i was laughing under my breath the whole way. I can't wait for the next road trip we take!!
