Happy 4th of July!

So, Jeremy's parents are here. We decided that last night we would venture off to Ft. Gordon here in Augusta for the fireworks show last night.... Of course we would be one of the cars selected at the gate to enter the search lane. I was so afraid they were going to make the four of us roll out of the car, but they just asked for insurance and registration. [We would have to roll out because Jer had grilled ribs for dinner! Yum! (Sorry you missed it!)]

There were so many ppl there that it looked like an Alabama football game. It was an excellent atmosphere for ppl watching. There was this family gathered not far from us. The toddler girl's diaper had formed a wedgie and, what do you know, I look over at her dad who is sitting on the ground and he looks like a plumber! (My eyes were burning!) So, I pointed it out to Jer so that he could enjoy the redneck excitement, too! Like father, like daughter.

Despite the crowd and the sights, the fireworks were awesome! We had a great time!

I had lunch with your in-laws yesterday at Cabos San Lucas. David said you all had a great time. He mentioned you had some good jazz music too.

Thanks..yeah I can't wait to see what he has to say if he does call. I just hope it won't effect Rick's job in any way. He's top priority right now. I would feel terrible if I took anything away from him. But I was about ready to start looking for a job. The church site takes so little time for me to do now especially since Dan hasn't given me any new articles lately. I just think it's funny that this offer just came out of no where. I met his boss for like 5 minutes Tuesday night and then he started asking Rick yesterday if I was working and might be interested in doing some work for them. I'll let you know what happens.

Healthy Meals

We have been trying to eat really healthy here lately, but it's just not as delicious as the stuff loaded in fat and sodium.

If anyone has any recipes for low sodium, low fat, low cholesterol meals that are delicious, I'd really appreciate it if you'd email them to me.

(I already know how to make a basic salad... so let's not waste your time with that one. I just knew it was coming 'cause someone will want to be funny!)
