The New Beginning

Since I last posted I have gotten married Travis Swisher and with him being in the Military have moved to Ft. Carson, CO. We live in a nice appartment right off of Cheyenne Mountain by a lake. We also live in a nice, pleasant view. Recently we got a dog named Riley who is part German Shepard and part Siberian Husky. She is 2 and a half years old and really playful, energetic, and curious. My husband Travis has re-enlisted in the Army for 6 more years and we are moving to Ft. Riley, Kansas sometime around September 2008. Travis may get deployed to Iraq with his company that he is in as of right now. Hopefully we will get his orders to go to Kansas before he goes to Iraq.

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!! I am 4-5 weeks along and baby is due somewhere between July 10-12. We are very happy and excited. Travis is wanting a boy because he believes that boys should come first and be the big brother. I on the other hand don't care what we have, but I think that having a girl first will keep the boys in line. This on the other hand could be a rough time because at the same time we will either be moving to Kansas or Travis will be deployed along with having the baby. Our next dr. visit is Jan. 4 and will be able to hear the heart beat!

I wish everybody well and take care. Lord willing Travis and I will be leaving for TX on December 23 and head back on the 28 so hopefully I will be able to see some of you when we are in town.

Always, keeep your head up high...sometimes we get bogged down and let the cares of the world set in. We should not have to let all that get us! We have something far greater to look forward to. Have confidence and self motivation to stay strong and keep on guard for the devil wants you. Don't let him get you in your worries and selflessness. BE 'HAPPY' so we can let our light shine. Because we have God on our side to keep our head up and always looking up to do everything in word or deed... do all in the name of the Lord!

With a picture, the way I do it is I have a picture saved to my computer. Then I go to "Edit Weblog" and click "browse." Then once you've found the picture, upload it. Let me know if that works. About the colors, I think there's a link for it. But what I do is I choose simple colors like yellow, red, blue...

Use the arrow looking things to the right of your "m" key. Put the left one, then the words font color, then the equal sign, then the color, then the right arrow thingy. Hope that helps...lol... Love you!!
