I love this time of year. School is kinda, sorta winding down or at least we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Ball practice has started, too!! Abbey moved up to coach pitch and she's doing really good. I'm excited to see her play this year. Jack is in t-ball and him and Garrett (my nephew) are on the same team. It's going to be sooo fun watching them. They are the best on the team...hehehe! :-)
This is a sweet little tidbit. Yesterday Jack said the prayer for dinner and he said "please help everyone go to heaven and cancer go to hell." haha!
Abbey is growing like a weed! She is so motherly and is constantly wanting to help my sister with the twins.
I got the kids out early from school on Tuesday so they could enjoy this great weather with me. The office lady said, "really?!?!?" Really! It's been beautiful and I wanted them home so they could play outside!!
Have a great Thursday!!!

I can't wait to see them in their bibs!! :)
Have a good Friday!

Happy New year!!!
We celebrated at the Rocket's game and then stayed at the Hilton that over looks Discovery Green park. It was really neat. We could see all the action without leaving our room!! The fireworks were about eye level with us so that was neat. The kids couldn't wait for midnight to see them but Jack fell asleep around 11:45. :( We woke him up and Scott held him by the window but he doesn't remember any of it. I felt bad for him the next morning...he woke up and said, "we forgot to watch the fireworks!" Poor baby!
Resolutions - read my chronological Bible everyday. I have the NIV version and it's broken down into days so that should make it easier. So far, so good! haha! What are your thoughts on God creating other people besides Adam and Eve? In chapter 1, it refers to "them" and then in chapter 4 Cain is afraid people will kill him (and he gets married!). Have I asked that before?? Strange to think about and it doesn't really matter but makes for good conversation!
- I'm also going to run a 10k before my 30th birthday. I keep saying I'm going to train for it but really I'm just running a 5k and stopping. It's so mental!! I just need to push through and do it. I can't image running for an hour!! ugggg!
The kids go back to school Wednesday. The first semester we had a countdown to christmas but now it's a countdown to summer!!
Have a great Monday!!
Abigail Grace Murff turns 7 today! I'm so proud to be her mom. She is a very sweet and caring young lady. Always trying to do the right thing even when others (brother, haha) are not. She's into playing with baby dolls right now and talks about when she's going to get married. I can't wait to see what the future holds for her.

Did I mention she likes to rock out any chance she gets?! ha ha!! :)

Well, we made it another year. Jackson Scott Murff is 6 years old today. I'm really struggling with the thought of my babies getting older. They are so sweet and innocent but with each passing year I know the devil will begin to try to chip away at their hearts and minds. I hate thinking about it. I wish I could keep them in a box with no responsibilities or temptations...forever! Anyway, on to much happier thoughts. Jack's day started out good. He got donuts for breakfast and opened 2 presents - a football with a tee and 2 dinosaur figure thingys. He's really into dinosaurs right now. He's asked for Pizza Hut stuffed crust cheese pizza for lunch and, get this, Carrabbas for his birthday dinner!!! woo hoo We told him he could pick anywhere he wanted and that's what he picked!! ha ha I better run an extra mile or two today. :)
Two six year olds...and I wouldn't have it any other way.
In other news, Scott and I celebrated 9 years of marriage Tuesday. He took the day off and we spent the morning at Memorial Park running the trails.

It was so much fun!! I'm thankful that we are best friends and that we enjoy just hanging out. After we ran, we ate lunch at La Madeline...we sat outside so we didn't scare the other patrons away. ha ha! This was probably my favorite anniversary. No fancy clothes or dinner just us doing what we enjoy. :)
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
