Howdy
I'm going to mimic my last post and say that over the years I have been incredibly indecisive and I've fallen in and out of infatuation a lot.
For the pleonast record, however, I'd like to document the following:
I did go back to school and am currently in the midst of my MBA with WGU Indiana which I will COMPLETE in December.
I'm not dating anyone and it is kind of lovely, though sometimes lonely.
It is amazing to me how many real friends I still have.
According to Bloomington statistics, I am old.
I now check off a different age range box when filling out surveys.
I have a great job (finally) with Indiana University. Pay is meh, but the people are awesome!
I have incredibly vivid dreams every night.
My mom has continued to pop up in all of my dreams in some capacity.
My step-mom is awesome and she is a saint for being able to put up with my cranky ol' dad (jk).
I don't get to FL as often as I'd like to. I think I'll start an online donation fund to help save money to send me to FL more often. :-)
I have TWO cats now - Sammy and Mal.
I live in a little house owned by my cousin that I am renting from her. It is OLD, but I like it just fine.
After 28 years, I have realized I am a picky eater. I never identified myself as such, but I now know it to be true.
I like to go to comedy shows a lot.
I'm eating healthier by watching the amount of bad carbs I eat.
I flip flop between wanting to have kids someday and never wanting kids. I actually lean more towards not wanting kids more often.
Currently, this is my life:
M-F, 9-5 - work at IU (full-time job)
M-F, whenever I can fit it in - work on school work (full-time student)
F-Sa, ~16 hours a weekend - work at Chateau Thomas winery (part-time job)
Whenever things pop up - volunteering for various charities and events
The friends I talk to most: Aaron C., Annie G., Andrew B., Susan S., my cousin Rachel, Adam C.
Last dating adventure: December 2012 - Matt T. a.k.a. hot comic book guy whom I met online
I created an excel spreadsheet to analyze the guys I've dated, when I dated them, their degrees, their current professions, and distinguishing characteristics. I felt a lot like one of the nerds on The Big Bang Theory while doing it.
I currently have a bunch of amazing little kids in my life who make me laugh: Matthew, Ella, Charlotte, Freddy, Addie, and Izzie. They crack me up and I love them to pieces.
My grandma rocks. She and I chat about interesting things or uninteresting things and it's lovely.
So that's about it. This is my 2013 post for posterity's sake.

hi jen! i think the spreadsheet is a good idea. if you add enough metrics and get enough data points, you could set up a bayesian classification algorithm for automatically determining probability of success for new guys you meet. sounds pretty great, actually! -
Jen! I thoroughly enjoyed this. Will has many excel spreadsheets as well. you nerds;)
