Well once again it's been several months since I've updated! It seems like I stay very busy and don't have much time to update, let alone check other posts!

Since I last was on... We've had lots going on! To summarize...

- Lacey Simpson came to visit me in February! We got to do lots of fun stuff while she was here! It even snowed! :)
- In March, 11 people from CS came to visit for their Spring Break! Our house was PACKED! We had such a great time showing off our city! It was super crowded and although it was their spring break, it was not mine! So Conrad and I were having to get up at 6 after going to bed at 2 or 3! It was an exhausting but super fun week!
- Next week was my Spring Break, and I spent it traveling to SA, Houston, and CS!
- We had been training for a half marathon which was on April 24th! That weekend we had a bunch of people come in town to run it and visit! We had a great time and everyone ran super fast! :)
- The NEXT weekend is when Nashville got flooded. It was pretty crazy how bad it really got. Right by our house, the main road was completely underwater and the water was rushing through the street like a river! We didn't leave our house from Sat-Mon! Services on Sunday were canceled and my school was canceled Mon and Tues. The city got a lot of damage and is still recovering. 23 people died and thousands of homes destroyed. It was very sad! And Opryland is destroyed also! Which is so sad! They are saying it could be til 2011 until it's fixed up and back in business. Our church building had water damage as well so we are currently worshipping at another church building on Thursdays and Sunday afternoons. Hopefully in a few more weeks we will be able to go back!
- This past weekend, we flew to Texas for my sister's graduation and mom's suprise retirement party! We had a wonderful time with my family!
- Conrad had his very first busy season working at KPMG. It was so much better than we expected! The latest he really ever worked was 10ish. Although many times he did have to come home and work a little bit from home. And some Saturdays and Sundays he would be busy. But for the most part it went great! He is now currently working at a client's office (Bridgestone) which makes for a much more flexible schedule! Which makes me happy! :)
- School for me is going great! My students last day was this past Thursday. My seniors have already graduated and all of my grades are turned in! I still have to go to work until next Friday though. So the question is... what can I do for a whole week there?! We'll see.. .might have to bring a book! :) I LOVED my year at school this year. It was a great school to work out and my kids are so sweet! There were still lots of challenges but overall a great year! I'm ready for a summer break! I feel like I've been so busy I haven't been able to keep up with normal everyday house things. So time to catch up!

Conrad is in Denver this weekend so I'm getting to hang out with Anna Lee who is leaving me this next week to go back to Texas :( I'll miss her lots!

Summer Plans:
*Memorial Weekend- Conrad's parents come to visit
*Early June- Giving Swim lessons and VBS week!
*Shreveport - to see family and friends, celebrate Laura's bday, wakeboard!!
*Texas- see family, friends, Lectures!
*July 4th weekend- 2nd anniversary trip to CHICAGO!! Can't wait for this one! (never been)
*Rest of the summer- enjoy time off and organize my house! :)

How are y'all doing? Any fun summer plans?!

Well it's been quite some time since I updated ... 5 months to be exact! But Lacy said I had to quit stalking everyone else's post and tell a little about myself! :)

Things have been going great in Nashville. Since my last post, we bought and moved into a townhome which we love! We painted it and redid the carpet before moving in. I've learned so much about house stuff in the last couple of months! We have already had several visitors here also! Our first visitors were Matt, Nina, and Tyler. We had a blast with them! We had only been in our house 2 days when they came so needless to say it wasn't in perfect order!

We then spent the next two weeks in TExas and COlorado with our families. It was wonderful to have a relaxing break... we got to ski, go see Lion King, and just spend good quality time together.

The week we got back from the break sister Lauren and her boyfriend Blair came to visit! It actually worked out perfectly because it snowed Thurs-Sat of that week so I got two days off of school to spend with them! PERFECT timing!

The following weekend my mom came out for MLK since I had the day off! She helped us organize and finish unpacking our house, and we just had some good girl time together! She's wonderful... I love moms! :) Conrad left while she was there to spend a week in Chicago for work.

The next weekend after they left we decided to go to Texas! I got to spend a weekend with some of girlfriends and just enjoy time in College Station! I hadn't spent a weekend in CS since July and missed it so much! It was SO SO SO wonderful to be at Friday Night Bible Study, I miss it so much and didn't realize that until I was there. That weekend Wilson Adams was in town for a meeting and the lessons I heard were awesome!

We have also placed membership at a church in Nashville. We are now worshipping with Broadmoor church of christ which we love so much! The worship service is always so sincere and meaningful, the people are great, and it truly feels like a family. We are glad to finally be connected with a group here.

I'm currently relaxing at home due to another snow storm coming through! They are predicting a possible 4-6 inches by tomorrow night! So we'll see what happens! I love that the schools here don't have to make up snow days... it makes relaxing at home a lot easier! Conrad did have to go to work today but plans on coming home early before the storm gets worse. I was going to go shopping and lunch with Conrad but don't want to be out if it gets bad! Instead I'm going to catch up on LOST season 5 (9 episodes left before Tuesday!), clean the house, do laundry, and maybe scrapbook!

Future FUn coming up! ~ Lacey is coming to visit me in 2 weeks!!! Many others over their SPring Break in March! And I start my Music City Half Marathon Training this Sunday! AHH.. gonna keep me way too busy!

We are headed to the smoky mountains for our 3 day weekend!!!

I can't wait! :) We rented a cute little cabin and plan on hiking and white water rafting and lots of other fun things! This is a much needed break from school! Already!

I can't believe it's already September! My how time flies! But that is a good thing bc before you know it... it will be October and I'll be in Texas!

How is everyone else spending their Labor Day weekend?

So we've been in Nashville for over a month now! Can't believe it has flown by so fast!
We've loved our time here so far. We have gotten to do so many fun things together and it was great because our first month neither of us had any jobs or responsiblities! So we spent every minute together! We've found so many pretty parks to go running in, we've taken up disc golf as a hobby, and have spent so much time with so many wonderful Christians!

We have been visiting two churches in the area and are having a tough time deciding where to worship! Everyone is so nice here!

We also got to spend a week in Colorado with Conrad's parents! It was great to see them and encourage them! Conrad and I snuck away for a night in the mountains to go camping! It was wonderful!!! and absolutely beautiful!

I have just finished my first week of school WITH the students! We start early here... but it was wonderful! The kids were so good, no behavior problems, and they are smart too! So very easy to work with! I am teaching freshman Algebra 1 and Senior Trigonometry!

Good news- Conrad found a job!!! He will be working full time for three months for a health care system making spreadsheets and stuff! Yay for that though... we REALLY needed him to find something! He doesn't start with KPMG until Dec 14.

My sister and cousin are coming to visit this week!! YAY! They fly in wednesday and will stay til sunday! I CANNOT WAIT!!! :)

Tonight we are going to see Josh Turner at the Grand Ole Opry with another couple from church!! Should be fun!

We miss CS and the people in Texas a lot! But we're also very thankful that we've had a reasonably smooth transition! I'm counting down the days til Bridget's wedding because that's when we get to come back and visit!!

PS. My twin (KB) just got engaged!!!!!! WOO HOO! Knew this would be happening soon!!!

So I'm officially a resident in Nashville, TN.
