TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA)-Local college professor Guy Warner says he is fed up with high gas prices and he believes there should be more exploration for oil and natural gas.
He says currently Congress has made access to the oil at Anwar in Alaska off limits to the u.s.
The Florida Senators are only interested in drilling if it takes place 125 miles off the coast.
Today, Warner will visit Senator Bill Nelsons Tampa office to deliver a written request to debate him on why leaders won't pursue tapping into our own energy resources.
Warner says he also isn't very confident in whichever person is elected president to solve the problem either.

Yes it is true we have procured a residence in Erie CO. I have to be honest, I had never even heard of Erie until we moved out here and began hanging out with Jonathan and Sarah. Its a quiet little town nestled in the shadow of the Vista Ridge, (since you all know where that is located). I can appreciate this little town for two significant traits. One is that they are to have the “Erie 4 corners” which I just think is really creative and 2, there is a family there that has an elm tree at least 2000’ tall (slight exaggeration) but this particular tree has been pruned to accommodate the coolest tree house I have ever seen. This bad boy has 5 levels, the 5th of which I’m sure you can go base jumping off. Great place.
In other news, so I’m really excited about this Pikes place Roast or blend or whatever it is. I was saddened, however, to hear this product was not as genuine as I had originally
thought – the Pike Place coffee sold only in Seattle has now gone global – this little truth managed to take the little joy of exclusivity out of that small insignificant part of my day and has made it so I feel the urge to write about it.

Tell me if this makes sense to anyone else?!?
"Moroccan Jamal Zougam was sentenced to a total of more than 40,000 years in prison, ALTHOUGH UNDER SPANISH LAW HE CAN ONLY SERVE A MAXIMUM OF 40 YEARS. Spaniard Emilio Suarez Trashorras, found guilty of supplying explosives, also received a sentence of thousands of years in jail."

Well here's an update, though I think many of you may actually view my wife's blog more that mine (hmmmm wonder why) but for what it's worth....
Went to Colorado and this was a working trip so not much fun was anticipated but we did have a really good time despite my regimented schedule.
We got there on Sat and had some really good time with my family for lunch, enjoying Grandpa’s famous S.O.S. made with ground Elk. Mmmm tasty! And then it was on to Longmont for some serious reconnaissance.
We viewed 4 different apartments and only really liked one for the space.
Tangent: Can I just say it annoys me when people lay out an apartment with “built-in shelves” and actually count square footage into that space you really had no control over and not to mention you loose 4-10ft sq. of floor space, What if I wanted to walk there?!
And the one we saw was pricy but very nice and had direct access to a beautiful Lake with a very picturesque view of the Great Rockies.
That evening we spent with my in-laws and had as good of a time that one can after a week of only the best camp ever (Ohio, not included) and then off to bed. The next morning we were able to worship with our Christian Family in Longmont and enjoyed wonderful singing by brother Qualls (I mean how can you not enjoy that) and then a grand lunch with Chipotle. The evening was spent with the Family at Westside and then we got to spend time with Jonathan Hadders and Fam. Good eats. We got to then enjoy the hospitality of our good friends the emails, . I mean, Hymel’s. (Great kids too!)
The rest of the trip was full of a great deal of interviews, getting to know Longmont better and at evening getting pushed around on the Catan board by the Hymel’s, which we will put a stop to mark my words. We were also able to visit Crocs and Celestial Seasonings both of which I have vigorously applied to multiple times (me crossing all digits).
I interviewed with three different “Professional Placement Companies” ..ahem…ahem. They now have my information and have confirmed that I do indeed know how to type and I answered correctly how long it would take me to get to work if I walked 4 mph and work was 1 mile away….. Whew… The only promising thing was a potential job with a company named Delphi which is connected with G.E….. I think. So now it’s the waiting game and of courts I maintain to apply to 3-4 jobs a week. Hopefully something will come through. Thanks for all the support to all those proud Japxican supporters out there (are you wearing your patches?!?!) and Ill update if anything new comes through…Maybe.
