slam bang

this year has had its ups and downs. but it seems that this month will end with a slam bang. I learned a hard lesson last sunday. that is do not travel on icey and snowy roads. I was driving on the william natcher parkway going home. and about 45 min into the trip i began to slide. so i was trying to get off the hwy and thats when i got rearended. a young boy 18 yrs old to be exact , didnt try to slow down at all, and rear ended me. i ended up with bad case of wiplash, and sore all over. I am feeling better now. we are waiting to see if my car is totaled. im pretty sure it is. i went yesterday and got every thing out of it and took off all the license plates, etc. i have been off work all week recovering. today is my first day with out pain meds. ( cant take the pain meds and drive). so i took tylenol artharitis today. heading to get my rental car and run errands with dad and mom. its back to work for me on monday. happy holidays . marcy

Glad you are ok. Last Sunday was definitely not a good day to drive.

wow its already april. spring break has come and gone, and alot has happened. we went to arkansas for spring break. it was ok but we spent alot time taking care of my grandmother who was sick when we arrived . we put her in the hospital with pneumoia, and dehydration. she is now in the nursing home. she is trying to get stronger, and were hoping to keep her in the nursing home if we can.

I came home this weekend for my birthday,. I got my hair done as part of my present, and we went to eat at cheddars last night,the food is great there . well gotta run. going to church

I'm looking forward to eating at Cheddars in BG.

back to work

well i went to the dr today, and i ws able to get my stitches out. so i will head back to work tommorow. I am looking forward to it, but i know that the first week will be tiring, but it will be nice to get back in t the swing of things. I will be back to the dr in april. Probably during spring break. i cant believe it is 6 weeks away. Yet i cant believe that this is the end of Feb. and spring is on the way. its about time.

well back to a few chores. I have been helping mom both last week and this past weekend, to get somethings done and go places she needed to go. she is still in her cast and cant drive yet, shes excited though because she gets the cast off in about a week. she is looking forward to that day. well got to run.

surgery up date

as you know i had the knee surgery on monday. it went well and the first day was a little hard. i didnt get sick from the anestisa this time. thad this cool patch that they put on my neck, it was for naesua. and it worked . I have to keep my knee elevated and keep ice on it. i cant get the wrap wet . which i did by mistake last night. we had it wrapped good, but i still managed to get it wet. so we had to take off all the dressing and put on dry. it was kind of scary seeing my knee after suegery. It is cut all across the knee cap. we got it wrapped up again, and i will not do that again,.

each day i get stronger and i cam bair some weight on it. but not to much. i am using a cain rigbt now. well thats all for now.

Glad to see you out tonight, and your Mom too! Hang in there, this will soon be just a memory!!!

i know taht title may confuse some but heres why i chose it., i got a call today from a neigbor of my parents to say that m0m had fallen and broken her wirst. she had a stick to steady her self . she fell on the ice and broke her wirst in three places. she is at the hospital as i type this. having surgrey to fix the issue. I will be in route tommorow after wokr to help out for the weekend/. then i will be having surgery on feb 9. dad is going to have fun ., I petiton your prayers as i travel. and for our family in the next couple of weeks.,
