Think of you, too. One reason, my Joanna Maria's initials, J.M., make me think of you! We are learning so much. Some days accepting the lessons better than other days. And this not only applicable to my little homeschool students. Would like to hear what H is up to in Houston these days. Did hear that some other H's are moving (or moved?) to town!

Just hanging out with my baby, and hoping to make it to Colorado in July! A pretty good summer... minus the heat :)

I can't believe you actually, really made an entry. Thought you had left pleo for the confines of facebook. Junior Camp is it plus being able to enjoy the dry and HOT weather. But the best part is being able to spend a week with people of God.

I'm trying to take care of the mother (look above) but it's a tough life you know? haha :) I'm enjoying having my rents all to myself and not having to be the peacekeeper for the other kids ;) finished with school and I graduate in August!! then on to brent's wedding, can you believe it?! miss you jamie moon

Hey, you! I've missed you on here! I like things about facebook, but I think I like pleo better. My summer has been a roller coaster of extreme highs (my 14 yo niece spending 10 days with us--exhausting fun!) and my father on hospice with terminal lung cancer (devastating because he's not a Christian). How 'bout you???

I have a sign hanging on my front door that says that very thing. Visitors laugh and say, "We all know YOU are from Texas!" So I will say to you...Happy Fall to you too!

Home from Tampa

Houston to Tampa driving time: two days and a lot of miles.
a lot of fun in between.
Tampa to Houston flying time : one hour and fifty minutes,
a coke and a bag of pretzels.

(Almost makes me want to get a job and save my money
for weekend flights to see my girl).

Awww, they're gonna have an awesome group of Texas girls down at FC. I know everyone will have a great time :) Reminds me of driving down with my mom and then her flying back- I think she enjoyed that a lot more too (minus the good company of course :)

So is she finishing her degree at FC? Or somewhere else? Or I guess she could be working down there too.... Seems strange to not be doing the TN to FL drive this fall. :-(

Haley is a Soph this year. Don't know where she will go from there. I am sure it does seem odd to not be doing that trip. I thought of you all when I was there. Hope all is well.

Watch the Continental get away weekend fares! My brother and I left Tampa on a Saturday and returned on a Monday and Tuesday, respectively. It was less than $100, round trip I think. Since I missed 2 days of school, I scheduled 2 doctor's appointments, one Monday morning and one Tuesday morning so the nurse would excuse both days of classes. I think we call that "working the system." :)

When we used to take the boys to the airports in Houston or Dallas for flights to Florida, they sometimes got there about the time we got home to Centerville!
