Who needs prozac when they have some dirt in which to dig? Love, love, love to work outside unless it is hot and humid. Looking forward to digging some when it warms up enough!!

I am SO ready to get my yard back in shape! I raked and bagged 3 giant bags of dead leaves, twigs, and inedible pecans that my pecan tree has spit out since last fall. That's the closest I've gotten to working in the dirt....

My Dad said yesterday (when it was a beautiful sunny day) that it was a good thing the snowstorm was coming today or the peach trees and other growing things would burst out too soon and be frozen. It was nice while it lasted....

spring brings blue blue skies, fresh scents, flowers... and well, house repairs because of the hail.
Winter brings snow... sometimes and rain sometimes. I'll take both. Hold the hail. My friend sent pictures of your snow - and it looked absolutely beautiful!!!!

The birds who live in my backyard were so excited this weekend because they thought spring was coming. Then the blue norther blew in yesterday. Poor little birds.... :)

Yesterday afternoon in my backyard I counted at least 30 Robins. All the birds were chirping and singing. Yep, thought it was Spring. This was after the norther blew in with 39 mph gusts.

Our weather is changing.... warmer nights (50s instead of 30s and 40s). Clouds, distant thunder, even a bit of rain! Folks here don't call what's coming "spring", but rather "the rainy season". But it's certainly coming!
