First of all, I would like to say to all those who left messages here with the hope that I would respond and checked this blog to see if I had posted anything new...
I cannot tell you how terribly sorry
I am that you have wasted your time.
To those who thought that I would become addicted to updating and reading blogs (coughsommercough) I can only say...
I am devasted that I could have ever,
in any way, encouraged such falsities.
To those of you who didn't know I even had a blog and are still wondering when I'm going to start the part of the entry where I tell interesting, facts, stories, and thoughts that relate to the current happenings in my life...
Right now.

So recently I have been participating in the production of an original musical written by Mike Gimenez (And no. I cannot pronounce his name correctly so don't feel bad if you spend several minutes of your time saying: "Gimi-...Giminezzy? Himiniminezi? Hi-my-knee-is? What in the name of all that is English is that?"). But I regress...
The musical, 'twas, is, and will be fun. I highly recommend you taking the time to come see it because...

A) Yours-truly is in it.
B) (In the event that you don't know me personally) A really, really hot guy is in it.
C) It's absolutely hilarious and original (so when I tell you the name, don't try to act knowledgable and say: "Ohhhhh, I think I've seen that before! Didn't Andrew Lloyd Webber play the lead in that?" Because no...he didn't.).

And the name of this musical is...
"THE CHORUS LINEBACKERS!!!"
Dun Dun DUN!!!!
(crowd screams, air horns go off, etc, etc)

So yeah, if you like musicals, hot guys, or anything that is original...you should definitely try to make a night of it and come out and see it. Show times are:
7 p.m. Thursday, 29th July
7 p.m. Friday, 30th July
7 p.m. Saturday, 31st July
(Performances take place at Bob Jones High School- Hughes Rd, Madison. Call me if you need tickets. 256-694-2853)

So yes...the rest of my life...
Finals are this Thursday! Please keep me in your prayers.
Cassie is still in NY at camp...without me. I'm not sure who you should pray for more. Cassie is probably getting pretty tired and I'm still stuck in Alabama. Not that Alabama is so bad, it's just that, in the summer Alabama turns me into one big sweaty, mass of man. Settle down ladies. It's actually quite disgusting and it makes me feel sub-human. They say sweat is supposed to help cool you off. Huh. Well, it's a nice concept anyways, kinda weak on the appearence appeal though. Kind of like PT Cruisers.
And then there's Dashboard Confessional. Out with their new single "Vindicated" which you can find on the Spiderman 2 soundtrack. I highly recommend it. It goes:
"Vindicated, I am selfish (voice
cracks horribly) I am wrong! I am
right, I (my vocal chords scream for
mercy) swear I'm right, I swear I
knew it all along!
And there's so much more, but I can't sing anymore right now. But if you haven't heard it, I promise you it's good.

Well, I think that's just about it for right now. I'd love to continue, but frankly, I'm out of interesting things to say. I hope you've enjoyed this entry. Sorry if you've been waiting for this forever. I forgot to tell you guys that this was a semi-annual blog. Yeah, just kidding, you're welcome to check it as often as you like. But I can't promise that it'll be updated. Peace and goodwill toward men, and as for you ladies...
Well, that's for another entry ;-)

Well, to bring in the New Year, I decided to do something extra special. I couldn't bear to scream "Happy New Year!" without that something extra that really makes it memorable. So when I went Ice skating Tuesday night...I saw my chance. Anyways, the doctor said the stiches would come out in a week, I can only hope it'll leave a nice scar to scare little children with. I wouldn't have gotten stiches at all if my mom hadn't seen it, but I guess she couldn't be blamed for asking why I had a large bandaid on my chin.

Yeah, well I can't believe it's almost 2004. I'm not necessarily looking forward to '04 or anything, but rather dreading it. Afterall, it does get kinda tiresome and embarrassing when you put the wrong year on a piece of turn-in-homework. I'm usually halfway through Feb. before I remember to put the right date. I hope everybody has a Happy New Year though, and don't stay out to late.

Quote of the week:

"I don't know man, if you miss that branch you'll hit the big one on the way down. And if you get the branch....you'll still hit the big one on the way down."

Hi! This is me typing this for Reuben! I decided that he needed a blog. So i made him one for Christmas! Great gift idea, isn't it? He will probably never post. But there is always the hope that he will get addicted like the rest of us! Reuben is the coolest person in the world. He is always fun to be around whether you are sculpting Moses out of the potato salad, stealing computer parts, chugging creme soda, or just hanging out. So...from here on.. This is Reubs!
