Hello again..

I've had a very stressful night.

I feel like an idiot...

So, tonight, sometime after church, I realized my keys were missing. I ran upstairs to our class room, checked there, the stairwell, the steps out front, and in the pew/on the floor. I couldn't find them, so I went to my teacher to ask him to take me to check a few other places. He did so, and we couldn't find them. We searched everywhere I had and a few places I had not been. I was so sure that I'd left my keys hooked to my purse, as usual. They weren't there or in my purse. :/ So, we went and looked and looked and then I called my parents to let them know and told them we'd keep looking but we were going to be late out. Also, since we live 35 miles away from our congregation, I was worried Papa would have to bring me a spare, but thankfully we had one. I got in the car and checked just randomly in the small box where we keep the sunglasses. There were my keys! I was so thankful, and I hugged on our youth minister and thanked him for looking with me. I know he must have been really tired, but I'm thankful he looked with me. He didn't make too much fun of me, either. I must remember to do a big thank you for him...like rice krispies. Or...cookies...or pumpkin something. :/

So, anyway, as you all can probably guess, I'm stressed. And still kind of freaking out. Gahhhh.

Anyway. How was your day?

Seems like it's always something..

I'm blessed, though. So very blessed. ♥

Yep.

I h-a-t-e losing things!!! It makes me so mad... AT MYSELF. I just hate it. I'm very glad you FOUND them and thankful that someone NICE was with you while you were busy stressing out. Next time you read the parable of the lost coin or lost sheep, you can remember and better understand how God must feel when his created children are lost...
You have heard that bad joke, haven't you?
Q: Why do you always find something you've lost in the LAST place you look?
    A: __________

Glad it worked out for you!

We had a drop-by guest which = impromptu game of Apples to Apples which = kids having lots of fun and me enjoying listening while I engaged in impromptu cooking baking because I didn't have any *good* snacks. It worked out nicely! :)

A: Because when you find it, you stop looking.
I hate bad jokes, too -- ha!

Me too on praying -- often to "remind" God that I could use help before I lose my composure & act ugly. He seems to agree with me there...

I get annoyed when I do things like that...but...you know...we're ALL human, after all. So just be glad you found them, be thankful for your helper, accept that you had some stress over it, chuckle about it, and let it roll off. Because it won't be the last time, I can guarantee it, and you can either laugh at yourself or let it make you miserable. ;)

    Love you, Raye.

You might enjoy this. Especially the later half. =)

I've had moments of feeling ridiculous too. Such as trying to lock a pump bottle (like a lotion.) to take in on a trip. It had been screwed down originally, and it had markings to say which way to turn it to lock it, but I never could get it to work. Eventually I just pushed it down a taped it. After getting back from the trip, I accidentally found out how it was supposed to lock: Twist the top 90 degrees. That's all. :P
