College is monstrous this year. But it's working out very well. Sorta.
My professors had mercy on me and allowed me, for the most part, to finish my unfinished reports and such this week (Spring Break), so I am not completely swamped in pain and suffering ;) So, I have at least three reports I need to write this week.
And, I logged my first 22+ hour day last Thursday. I woke up at 5:30 and started programming work at 5:40. 9 hours later, at 3:00 p.m., I was finished with work, school, and advising appointments, and so I started my two-problem quiz that was due the next day. 13 hours later, at 3:50 a.m. the next morning, I finished the quiz. I then drive home, finally hitting the haysack at 4:30. then wake up at 7:00 the next morning and hit it again. (I only worked until 5 on Friday, don't worry). Then Spring Break!!! and 12 or so hours straight of peaceful sleep :)

For anyone who cares, there is free software called PDFCreator that is very useful, in that it registers as a printer, but converts into PDF format. So, any software that prints can be converted into a PDF document. This is more useful in the business world, but I thought I'd mention it anyway :)

AND I'm engaged :D I did mention this already, but it's still a great happiness in my life :) (it makes me smile a lot) :)

my computer talks :) (almost) and listens :) (almost)
I'm teaching my computer speech and speech recognition in my spare time :)

And I'm marrying a wonderful woman :)

(my life really does seem to consist almost entirely of school and fiance and God)

speaking of God, I'll be doing the lesson the fourth Sunday evening at our church.

And that's pretty much my life right now :)

Most of the time, I just play around on Pleonast, tantalizing you poor souls who keep up with my life by giving you only sparse details, leaving you wanting more and often confused about rubber ducks and such. So, I figured I'd actually update about my life with enough information to be considered an actual update:

I proposed to Shanna-Kaye Betts on December 26th at the Tyler Rose Gardens :) she laughed, she cried,and she said yes :D We are planning, Lord-willing, on getting married June 12th. We will be working on the invitation list very soon, most of you will probably be receiving invites via facebook :)

I am currently in the second semester of my Junior year in college, I'll have one more year left after we get married. My schedule this year, as of now, is:

I have stepped down as the President of the Robotics Team, and am now simply a member working on the team. I doubt I will be able to update much after today, as I will be swamped by classes.

Your prayers would be appreciated, as I will need God's help to make it through this semester, through my life, really :)
I hope yall are all well, I may try to update occasionally, but it will usually only be to let yall know I'm alive :)
If anyone is curious why I'm so suicidal, taking on so much, I can try to explain, but all will reveal itself in due time if you would like to simply sit back and watch my life unfold :)

It might be the 18 hours I signed up for.
It might be the electrical engineering degree I chose to pursue, and the math associated therein.
It might be that I'm getting married soon.
It might be that there's been a rubber duck spontaneously appearing everywhere I go. But probably not.

One way or another, this semester is quite a heavy load. :) It's gonna be rough, and I doubt I'll have time for anything, and yet somehow I'll do everything.
Quite contradictory, I admit, but most of you already know me well enough to know this is quite normal :)

School has started, it's gonna be a tough year. Good new is, if I pull this off, I'll have alot less on my plate when I get married :)

I hope yall have all had a great week, and that God is continuing to bless each of you in your lives :)

Life is good, classes are tough, I'm completely overwhelmed by everything I'm involved in right now, but enjoying all of it :)

I somehow managed to get sick twice last week, not much fun, but I'll live :)

And Thanksgiving break is almost here! :) yay :)

Gotta go now, classes beckon and my homework threatens to disembowel me unless I overwhelm it with my superior intellect and overwhelming dedication :)
